Waow, one of the most exciting applications of 3D printing. I also heard about birds getting new beaks, scientists printing skin for burned people, chicken getting new legs... So many cool things will come. @sparrow

No way! That’s so cool! Printing skin??? Clearly, I’m behind on this tech development!

In so many ways. From food, spare repairing parts to houses. Food is researched by the NASA for astronauts but will become mainstream if you ask me. Houses have already been 3D printed. Imagine printing your own repairing part at home instead of having to buy it at a store.

I had no idea Home’s have been printed... that’s insanely cool. I’m slightly concerned about the materials being used though. We’re surrounded by plastics on all sides. By 2050 there may be more plastic in the ocean than fish!

But I see your point on parts. Very useful!

It's because the route follows some established roads and trails but then goes cross country to connect to others. Eventually a preferred route gets established and then becomes the a footpath highway, like the PCT. But even there you can be rerouted. Fire, snow hide trails well!

That’s interesting. The old trail just kind of slips away to the wild as time goes on, and foot traffic becomes lighter. But enough people still take the first part of it, to keep half the trail well traveled.

But it was a shock enough that I remember it! One moment I'm happily following a well-trod route, which gradually vanishes. I spend 30+ minutes scouring the hills for signs of others' tracks headed the right direction. I give up and plot a route to the next unmissable landmark

No kidding! Those kinds of routes always make me very curious. Why are they so established, and then suddenly there is no trail? It’s concerning... lol

That was one of the last long trips I did without gps. I had good maps and knew if I continued on a certain compass heading I would cross a road. Others later followed my footsteps. If you do off-trail hikes or take foolish shortcuts every so often the feeling is not unfamiliar.

Wow! That’s an experience! Can you imagine the modern world without gps? People today would be hopeless haha.

CyberWear may not be available in your year of history. But keep an eye out for a small biotech startup that successfully replaces human organs with synthetic ones. In the future, they will have full synth sleeves available for 10k amzn coin, 8k mark coin, or 6 bitcoin.

Image you are invited to a party. Strangely nobody seems to want to talk to you. When you get home you find someone has drawn a huge penis on the back of your jacket. That is the equivalent of having a hashtag politics label slapped on your post.

Actually, that’s a bad analogy, because you didn’t know about the drawing on your jacket.

If you had known about the drawing, like knowing about the “politics” hashtag, then perhaps you would have invited graffiti artists, anarchists, and people who enjoy the D on your back.
