Thanks to @bevan for his amazing work. The testiment is @james putting together a readonly version from the smart contract and IPFS.
Thank you.
If Peepeth is ok it's because of the community and the support I've gotten. Not least @James for leading the way with Leeroy. And the massive help with ideas and testing from you and others.

Over past few months I have had the pleasure of helping on the IOS version of Trust Wallet. It has been a great learning/overall experience!
Thanks for your work, that's very cool.
(And thanks for verifying your Twitter as well- a big help!)

No worries, I appreciate your patience!

@bevan Little UI idea, would it be possible to add a summary list to the unsaved actions before you save to the blockchain?
Great idea! Have added it to the queue.

How’s everyone doing today? Bloody of course but besides that... lol
Hey Jabrah! Thanks for verifying your Twitter by the way. A big help!

今日から少しずつPeepethの方でもつぶやこうと思います! I wrote about Peepeth. Please read it!! http://sanmari15.com/archives/8028209.html
Thank you Sanmari! Really appreciate the exposure. Would love to get more Japanese speakers on Peepeth.
So far there are more articles on Peepeth in Japanese (2) than in English!

Hannah, do you have a collection of these ascii birds somewhere, or are you peeping them on the fly? (*)>

Does your peep show up to others before you confirm your transaction on the network?
Yes, you can tell which peeps have been blockchain-saved by looking for the lock in the bottom right corner.

@bevan #suggestion hashtags in profiles don’t work as tag links.
Thank you; have added to queue.

Yes, tx fees are negligible - I was even able to get away with this https://etherscan.io/tx/0x4a29c7deb71f94937647b5c2aa9bc4ce7ba13ee0e7c1ddd2a2c26157830bbb2a

Hi from Zurich / Crypto Valley everyone -- just joined & happy to be here. No trolls, ICO shillers, etc. -- it's like talking a walk in pristine countryside :)
May it remain so! :)
Thanks for joining Raphael, and for verifying your Twitter account. It's a big help for Peepeth.

Glad it worked, thanks for trying again!

You might want to have someone register @Coinbase before its taken. Is it to much to ask for them to verify it on twitter also....had to ask.
Thanks for suggesting. Tweets and other mentions really help Peepeth grow.
Mainly I want to build a good community (however small) and product. Hoping to grow sustainably from that. Tweets help too!

Hey Bevan, thank you for building this. It is not just useful but also showcases that Ethereum allows for platforms where users are not the product.
Thanks. I hope it proves useful!

Hi grand kids. This is me right now. My younger moments were captured infrequently in physical formats, more recently photos and thoughts were in centralised online services which likely no longer exist. I apologise in advance for anything I peep in the public record.
Haha.
I remember aunts and uncles giving me speeches to this effect when Facebook first became popular. Now they can really have at it.

Been doing lots of thinking of what unstoppable microblogging really means. 1: peeps are public, anyone can view them. 2: peeps are forever (as long as Ethereum and IPFS exist and allow data to persist depending on what rent is paid, so perhaps a decade or so).
A paradigm shift.
However, "folk wisdom" has it that anything one posts to regular social media could be around forever too. I think many have at least a tacit understanding of that possibility. So am wondering just how differently people will behave on the blockchain.

I think #Peepeth is going to work well for those wanting to break free and own their content. We have to come to terms with what is free isn't really for free and if you really want something you have to pay for it. This is a fantastic example and a really good start @bevan!
Thank you! Yes, I believe many are realizing that free services have a cost.

A year on Instagram (my social media of choice), Twitter and even Facebook (awful) and I've not had a customer message me directly to buy an item, even after I accepted cryptos. 5 minutes on Peepeth and @bitcoin had already checked my Etsy and bought from me directly via Tips.
Congrats on the sale!

aha, I guess the Peepeth's node/oracle hadn't picked it up then.
Thanks for verifying your account! That really helps Peepeth. Yes, it can take a little while to confirm. It depends on network conditions and Oraclize servers. If anyone is having trouble with verification, let me know and I'll investigate.
We have a new recipient of the Mosquito badge! @DeezNutsToken, thanks for your support of the Against Malaria Foundation.

Made a super basic, read-only client for Peepeth to demonstrate how cool all of this is 😋 doesn't touch the Peepeth servers, reads confirmed posts from the blockchain and IPFS: https://ipfs.io/ipfs/QmQwNcHfjEXndwagt8ECp3hEXcfCtBJwmNoiKkNXyhs9pG
Wow! James, thank you so much for building this tool. It's not only a proof of concept for alternate front-ends, but also gives the platform a lot of cred coming from you!

OK, so, I'm here. I don't really know what here is as such or even what I will do here. Is it like a blockchain Twitter....?
Hey Martin! Thanks for signing up. You raise a good point. It's a blockchain Twitter, but as far as how people will use it, that's an open question. I hope the Peepeth community continues to take this opportunity to give decentralized social media a good name!

How about a bot for the crypto traders that lets them lock in a "Call" and if that call is true its verified by contract. If true more ppl will tip this trader therefore providing revenue to the platform. Just a quick idea, I have no idea how to implement.
Interesting idea. Will think about this!

#peepeth: A penny for your thoughts ;)
Love it. Am working on the messaging for a broader audience, so all suggestions welcome! How to frame it in a way that resonates and justifies pay-to-play?
Not just with catch-phrases like "Freedom isn't free" "Your two cents" etc, but with the overall messaging and feel.
