Thanks Bevan. Unfortunately most people in blockchain sphere really think that build a decentralized consensus is enough to build a better world (only can be worst). They only play with blocks like LEGO with bullshit business plan. The hype is over. It is time to wake up now !

There is a list of peepers (as @callmegwei said), though it doesn’t have peep number or a total of peepers. @bevan #suggestion I am at number 7. https://peepeth.com/peepers

I second this request... you can manually tally them via the Follow - "See all" link... but just having a total, even on a page apart from the main UX would be cool to watch grow.

@bevon since you sre saving Tx costs by writing to the block chain in batches, where is the data stored before the Tx is made? Directly to IPFS?
On IPFS yes, and also on the front-end which facilitates batching.

If peeps are permanent on both Ethereum and on IPFS, what does this mean for the posting of copyright infringement material? This is also worrying if someone takes someone else's material and monetizes it through tips. I wonder if there is a possible solution to this?
Good question. Front-end must comply with applicable laws, but nobody can control the blockchain / protocol.

It is definitely a user education. Don’t peep what you don’t want future bosses, partners, grand kids to read. I think there will be a need for a hide (rather than delete) peep. There may be potential for an option to delete a peep prior to a batch save.

No IPs are logged to IPFS, just peep-relevant data. The Peepeth front-end does track user sessions (incl IP) as part of the boilerplate analytics.
This is standard practice but am open to changing it. Useful but not critical.

I'm wondering if this is a good idea... then @Bevan has to write a wallet from scratch? And new users says "cool" but then they can't use their peepeth wallet for any other dapps? Ideally, it seems like we need os support for crypto identities...
