Yup!i moved to an island after living in a huge city all my life. I felt like I spent my life in my car. Now I live “in town” and walk most places. If I need to drive I am never further than 10 minutes from most places. It’s great!

Note to self: prepare well in advance (e.g. 6-8 days) before leaving New Zealand for 2+ months. Insurance suspension, travel debit card, compiling itinerary, packing, etc. all takes way longer than you expect and you WILL have at least one “10 mins” job extended to an hour.

Yeah! Thats where we got her name. Very few people get it! Sloopy was a street dog called Penny when we rescued her from the wrong end of town. She now lives life to the full in the lap of luxury!
