Keep valuables in hardware wallets. Only keep small amounts of funds in soft wallets.
One could argue that your peepeth identity is the most valuable asset though. But I assume Ledger-support is not high on the list for new features ;)

it's been a while since i've felt an earthquake on this side of the island but they definitely do occur. i live on the west side but know people with property down south and near the volcano. it's dark now so i hope everyone is staying safe.

It's crazy how this happens, not just on Peepeth, but in most social forums; the more active voices there are, the less desire we feel to participate. It's like the relative loss of impact our individual voices carry changes the dynamic of the entire platform. 🤔 #peeplosophy

So, I’m using Toshi for iPhone for peepeth and my browser is claiming I have no eth. I think I was hacked or something, I had a small balance and it’s all gone. It’s showing on my profile the buck I got yesterday, but on the browser balance there’s nothing.
Did you check your address through an explorer like etherscan.io? In case your funds were transfered, it will be displayed there.

That's a general Internet block issue. If they use a VPN, they can access it. The censorship thing is more about not being able to delete stuff.
I think I saw somebody from China mention that it actually worked the other way around for Peepeth for some reason. It didn't work for him while using a VPN and started working as soon as he switched it off.

It feels way different for me. Part is the fact that nothing can be taken back (typos, weird English, etc), part is the 'small audience' you mentioned. I like it!

Deposit is a little more risky because if the contract is destroyed or becomes locked in any way, then your funds are lost. If it's approval based then you're pretty unaffected. Approval is also cheaper because you don't have to deposit/withdraw to trade, you just have to approve
