The ENS address `meta.veoxxoev.eth` has a record to the account I'm using to post this here: https://etherscan.io/enslookup?q=meta.veoxxoev.eth

But is it used anywhere on Peepeth? My address has set a reverse lookup too, but have never seen it being used anywhere.

Ty for the video! Some feedback: I think it would have been helpful to know which parts of this are considered 'typical sharding' (as planned by Ethereum and other blockchains) and what parts are really Zilliqa-specific.

I haven't written about tech in years, most of my freelance writing is for Fantasy and Roleplaying games. I do sysadmin work from home, so I'm always reading.

Oh, that is as interesting as tech articles to me :D What games in particular?

@balresch hmm yeah not seeing a link...maybe youtube and external links don't work yet? what's the video? And also, I wouldn't recommend watching the prank episode haha, it's painfully cringe-worthy haha

Haha, alright, thank you for the warning.
@bevan Is the youtube link block on purpose or is it some kind of bug?

Want to save the world? A reusable coffee cup is a good place to start.

I did use one for some time, but then lost the lid. Now I gotta buy a new one because the lid is not sold seperately -.-

Hey Balresch, thanks for asking. Yes that's possible but not implemented yet. I'm guessing it will be a little while though as there are a few things ahead in the queue.

Great to hear, thank you for your efforts!

@bevan Any plans on allowing users to transfer their account to another key? I didn't think it through and just used my usual MetaMask account instead of creating a new one.

Made a super basic, read-only client for Peepeth to demonstrate how cool all of this is 😋 doesn't touch the Peepeth servers, reads confirmed posts from the blockchain and IPFS: https://ipfs.io/ipfs/QmQwNcHfjEXndwagt8ECp3hEXcfCtBJwmNoiKkNXyhs9pG

This more than deserves my first tip through Peepeth :)

Wow, sorry to hear that! I've been lucky so far and avoided it. Trying to raise awareness of the Effective Altruism idea: how can we do good most effectively? AMF is one of the best currently. Highly recommend the 3 podcasts linked to on peepeth.com/malaria.

No need to be sorry - it was many years ago and this particular type of malaria does not break out again after one got over it, like some other types do. Still wasn't fun though!^^
I will check out the podcasts, thank you!

Haven’t looked into them much. I know with Tether it was kind of iffy, didn’t want to get to much into it. Volatility detours many small businesses. You get paid for a service one day, and market drops 10% next day, your service was devalued. But if you see the future benefits..

I am staying away from Tether, I am uncertain about DGX - but I am more than impressed by MakerDAO/DAI. Lets see where all of this goes :D

BTC is set up for merchant acct. Despite volatile markets, I believe 100% in crypto and the potential is has in comparison to future fiat situations. We won’t see anything like Venezuela’s hyper inflation but anything can happen. I’m a fan of ETH also. The more solid currencies

I fully agree! But I think the volatility is a big cause for small businesses not to accept crypto just yet.
What do you think of stable coins like DAI or DGX?

Against Malaria Foundation is the best charity to donate in terms of "bang for buck" i.e. lives saved per dollar donated, out of all charities measured. @bevan Can field this further.

Thank you!

There is a local bar down here in Saint Petersburg FL, one of the older bar/restaurant establishments. He has a Bitcoin ATM. Between his establishment and our plumbing company, that’s 2 crypto involved businesses! C’mon Florida, don’t #Hodl. Pay your Plumbing bill with crypto 😎

Out of curiosity, which cryptos are you accepting and why?

Looks well done but feel it's a bit too expensive, or is that just me? I love me some collectables but haven't dabbled in the crypto side due to me thinking most are too much eth for a single character/pet/thing.

I agree as well, 100 bucks for a single (not yet evolved/trained) digital pet is way too steep for me 'just to try out'. I did that with CK, but that was already proven somehow, this is not.

@balresch yes, I've also been noticing alot of clones and cheap knock-offs and steered clear of most. This looked a bit more legit. A few hours spent researching, chatting on their discord channel, just spent like .2 eth on one in their "pre-sale" we'll see what happens hah

If you don't mind, I will just be observing for now :P Let me know how it goes!

Has anyone looked into Axie Infinity? New blockchain project built on ethereum that allows you to collect, breed, and fight digital creatures you adopt and raise. Artwork looks great. Was chatting with creators + developers on the project and looks awesome. Anyone check it out?

There were CK-clones popping up left and right, so I decided to let Ethereum-based games mature for a while before checking back in. How much time and money have you spent on Axie Infinity?

Apr 04, 2018 13:49
