ty, in my youth with primitive photography I would always try to capture otherworldly images. Likely inspired by space quest and kings quest.

I miss Sierra games. That was a bright spot in my childhood.

What are you up to this weekend?

Nothing much. I got two new supplements just now. Resveratrol and Nicotinamide. They're supposed to be powerhouses for antiaging and metabolism. Hopefully this will help me with the cut I'm on.

Yesterday it was 1-7pm. It may not be ideal for recovery since I lift in the morning, but has been fine in the past. Not sure if it's true, but I've heard the hormonal response kicks up a notch if you wait a couple hours to eat. Main reason is I do my best work fasted.

You don't spike your insulin is the main reason it works to your advantage. Hormones do play a part. CICO is the law on cuts and bulks but hormonal balance is a good indicator of health and can make use of calories to the best of your body.

Sounds like it'll soon be "YOKED: the Sparrow story" with all the lifting and ribeyes :)

I hope to be lean and still in overweight BMI at the end of this cut. May not but I'm hoping. :D What about yours? "Ubermensch: the Bevan story."?

Nice. Aiming to get back into rows and DLs once my back heals up. Does IF affect your workouts?

I time my work outs right before lunch so I can get some muscle recovery in. My usual routine is work out for an hour, two scoops of whey and BCAAs, mirror time to check out what I look like with a pump (good for morale), and then lunch. Lunch today is sous vide ribeye steak.

"Crazy: the Sparrow story."

Just got done with bench and curls. About to start rows in literally a minute. Sweating and breathing but feel good.

Good to hear. Are you doing snacks or any other calories besides? I’m not counting my meals as much as restricting my eating window.

When is your eating window? I usually eat between 1pm and 9pm but I don't usually eat that late. Dinner is usually around 7-8.

I do have some snacks but if I eat them then I eat them as meal replacements. It's rare that I'll eat between meals because that would probably be boredom eating and not hunger. I have two big bags of beef jerky as my go to. The only bad thing about jerky is the salt.

Slowly losing. I got up to 195 but I'm back down to 192.9. The eating is fine. I just need to not drink beer. Right now on two meals a day but I'll be switching to one meal soon hopefully.

Exacto. We plant these in autumn, they spend winter fattening up. They take the damp/moisture much better than other #garlic. Here's their progress at our #allotment (taken last week). We bought 2 elephant garlics initially a few years ago, now we have lots! #gardening

When is the best time to dig up the bulbs?

Those are huge cloves. When would you plant them? Fall?

Thanks for sharing! I have a serious hankering for onions now, vidalias or not. Did you try the onions raw?

I haven't tried them raw yet. I have three in the fridge for sandwich slices but I rarely make sandwiches. I might try that tomorrow if I'm not feeling like steak or shrimp.

The product of me sous viding onions in lager with garlic. I didn't want to waste the sauce after I plated the onions so I took a corn starch slurry and cooked it thick and poured it over the onions. Tastes sweet and the texture is soft. Could use some salt. Overall pretty good.

I've got four bags of beer sauteed onions and mushrooms. Had to do something with the remaining mushrooms so I vacuum sealed them with scallions, garlic, and ginger with a healthy marinade of coconut oil to be sous vided. Should go well with a Chinese dish. All now in the freezer

Now there's an idea! I'll have to try it with avocado now. Thinking about also putting it on my tacos. I hope this blend helps with recovery as ginger and garlic are supposed to help with that.

Apr 26, 2019 19:16

New sauce I just tried: teaspoon minced garlic, tablespoon ground ginger, and 2 tablespoons sriracha. The ginger burn and the pepper burn combine for a compounding of heat that has my eyes watering so be forewarned. But the flavor is amazing. Will put on chicken tenderloin again.

You'll have to look into cremation then. Green burials are rare to find a site and much more expensive than even a regular funeral. I looked into green burials because that's how I wanted to be dealt with after death too and came to the conclusion cremation was the better bet.
