I’ve never been able to overcome my constant desire for food, especially sweets like ice cream and cookies. It’s taken a toll on me. This is my first attempt at fasting and it’s really hard. I hope I get used to hunger. In general, I feel less bloated and ill. McRib sounds 🤤

Did you prep for the fast in any way, such as going into ketosis?

I read an article about a Silicon Valley executive using fasting as a performance enhancing technique (biohacking). He travels a lot more than I do, but I was blown away with the idea of only eating when he could do so extravagantly.

Cool. Nice to not be attached to the idea of three meals per day.

Intermittent fasting seems to help me with overall energy / health, but doing a 72-hour was not as clearly beneficial in that way. Overall it was a good experience though; will be trying again.

Hey Bevan! I’m taking the warm up approach. I did a 24 hour fast, and then a 48 hour fast (that I just broke), and will now be going for 72 hours. I’m using electrolyte packets once a day, providing 450mg of potassium, some magnesium, and a little calcium. But my heart is funky.

Cool, what was your inspiration? Are you thinking about anything other than what you're going to break your fast with? :) I'm due for a fast too.

Oh yeah! I love it! But I exclusively watch and listen to German stand-up. So I guess most of the peeple here won't know them. Still these are my favourites: Kaya Yanar, Michael Mittermeier and Mario Barth. How about you?

Cool! Will check those out, as I'm (sort of) learning German.

I don't have any particular favorites- but found this French channel recently which is hilarious (what I understand of it anyway- trying to keep up my French).

One idea is allowing people to find Peeps who they already follow on Twitter. For those who connected their accounts to twitter this should be doable.

Added this feature today. To try it, click the "Find your friends" button in the follower suggestions box.

Welcome Zach! Yeah, it is. More than that though, Peepeth is a call to act mindfully and with positive intent. We can each raise the vibe or lower it; I hope Peepeth inspires us to do the former and to be our best selves.
