The Peepeth points are currently just referral points, sorry for the confusion. One gets them based on the actions of the people you refer (via your special referral link or by inviting them individually; see "Invites" in the menu).

Yeah thats a good idea - I was thinking more technical but having some general videos is definitely smart. I should do a video on Dapps showing off Peepeth! Its probably one of the most straightforward ways to explain what Dapps are since folks are so familiar with Twitter
A Peepeth vid would be amazing!
I guess there must already be many general blockchain vids out there, so a focus on more technical subjects makes sense. Looking forward to seeing them.

Account info is stored in IPFS / blockchain, yes. A map wouldn't actually be too hard; I'll see what I can do!

@bevan, Peepeth points seem to be off a bit... since Mosquito badges alone are worth 25 points now. Also, if Peeple verify on Twitter and Github... shouldn't both little red icons show next to their names in the main feed?
Re: verification badges, you can pick which one to display in Settings. Since there will be more verifications, decided to keep the interface clean by just showing one. However, people will know you have multiple verifications because the badge appears darker in that case.

I don't think anyone's earned any Peepeth points yet for mosquito badge; they are only earned if someone you referred gets one. They should actually be called Peepferral points (all based on the actions of the people you refer).

Verifications are not a major focus now. I released GH verifs because it had been mostly built awhile ago, and I was making some related changes. Thanks for asking!

Yes, to make it harder for spammers to impersonate others. It also gives people a chance to share their other accounts. Also, verifications will play a role in filtering.

Interesting! If you're starting from scratch and learning web development, maybe they're comparable, on average, time-wise? However, I think most people are probably faster at learning one than the other. Good luck!

If you mean when it will be open to public signups, it may still be awhile (important changes coming first). You can, however, invite your friends by clicking "Invite" from the tab. There is also a personal referral link there, with which you can earn fun Peepeth points.
