π After 2.5 years of being in private beta, we are finally launching our production ready blockchain API that scales #ethereum at low cost at 100x throughput via Matic L2.
I've setup a Gitcoin grant for the FREE remote bootcamp we have been running since April. After the success of our 1st cohort winning a @ETHGlobal bounty, we need your help to sustain and scale it! π
Details on: https://gitcoin.co/grants/845/remote-developer-bootcamp
We've been conducting a free remote bootcamp for developers - 1st cohort is going great! Please share with students/graduates who need the most help during this crisis π

Congratulations!
Thank you! :)
Gave my first ever talk at Stanford (blockchain conf) on Thursday! It was both challenging and fun to give the technical details of @BlockVigil's API offering for #ethereum and how we accomplish it in 2 slides and under 120 seconds β°

Ha, yeah I blew it yesterday. I was going strong but life happened.

We finally launched something to public!
I wrote about our ups and downs of 2019 - https://medium.com/blockvigil/year-in-review-2019-4a615d5842f3
We decided to run with the spirit of open source and publish a ton of code and documentation as much as humanly possible in the month of October.
So, here are our own little Hacktober updates π

We made our first hire at @BlockVigil yesterday! :)

Anyone that has money in a Parity multi-sig wallet remembers... That was a really philosophically significant moment in blockchain history - at least for me. I guess some people aren't here for the philosophy. Well... and so many new people - which is wonderful.
Couldn't have put it better!

Enough waiting, exclusive access to Peepeth users: https://beta.blocksig.app/
Feedback welcome here and/or: swaroop [at] blocksig.app.

Just updated the Ropsten testnet ETH faucet with a new #react frontend. If you need some crispy fresh Ropsten ETH , get it here https://faucet.ropsten.be/
That domain used to be the most visited on my browser. Thanks for building the faucet!

Not quite but if you are on the subscriber list, I will send out more invites this week.

Haha, just need to prep stuff before making it publicly available. Will shoot you an email first thing tomorrow morning!

Send Google a thank you letter? Point users to the Brave browser. Win win.
Brave all the way but that now we have 2 problems.
Some day to go live with a new product that depended on Metamask for a crucial feature :(

We just launched the beta version of https://www.atomicbazaar.io/ It's a marketplace that allows users to swap mixed bags of NFTs without escrow. No matter how many assets in the trade, they all transfer in one tx. https://twitter.com/AtomicBazaar/status/1017852597804380160

Congratulations! Thank you for building.
thank you :) Can't wait for the community to start building stuff on top of it!!
On the plus side, EthVigil is pretty much feature complete and we even started making revenue purely through our product - no consulting!
Can't believe I haven't peep'd since the first post in SF!
Fundraising has been draining as in the past - especially challenging in crypto when taking the traditional equity route over tokens!

Yup, it was a lazy yet successful attempt. Never visited/stayed in this part of the town - seems fun!

I just realized I never shared here about what we are doing at EthVigil: https://medium.com/ethvigil/ethvigil-api-gateway-for-ethereum-b9d5266f2ea6

Oh, boring? I'm boring. I like boring. You might wish you kept that boring changelog in twenty years when they open the blockchain museum and want Peepeth stuff!
@beevan I love reading changelogs. And this is coming from an Android user where 90% of apps say bugfixes as their weekly changelog :)

Made a super basic, read-only client for Peepeth to demonstrate how cool all of this is π doesn't touch the Peepeth servers, reads confirmed posts from the blockchain and IPFS: https://ipfs.io/ipfs/QmQwNcHfjEXndwagt8ECp3hEXcfCtBJwmNoiKkNXyhs9pG
