It's pretty interesting, since you can only offer one per day, people end up not using them. Maybe it's not the best model, i reckon.
Sometimes I simply forget to use it. But when I come across a peep I really like I am happier to spend this Ensō on it than I would be by just giving it a like. Maybe we would need some kind of reminder or a little banner on the side which indicates that we still have it unspent.

What does a fella have to do to get an ensō around here?
Sell his soul.

I'd say around $150. $35 for speakers, $45 for amp, $25 for battery $15 for the voltmeter with usb ports and $20 for the ammo box plus some wire and zipties. Not too bad and it's going to hopefully be a nice conversation piece camping this weekend lol
If it works well and the sound quality is good, then this is not expensive at all I would say. You the cool part is the time you spend to #buidl it and the story you'll be able to exchange with your friends at the camping. #lkie

Hi everybody, I am curious about this new platform and whom to meet here. Just built a music player adapted to a handicapped person. A raspberry pi in a wooden box with a sensor for skipping to the next title. The sensor detects a hand coming close. See profile photo.
So cool! Is it the first prototype?
Welcome on Peepeth! You'll see, so many great peeple on here.

The particularity about the Ensō is that you can only offer a single one per 24 hours. It makes it special because you have to choose the peep you want to offer it to and because of that it is more rare. You get used to likes, but every Ensō you receive is special.
@stuart Hey! Thank you for the Ensō. Long not heard from each other. I just saw you have been off for about a week or so. How you doing?
Replying to @modogg187 (0x937b3774ce62a165f0ea4a9e71355d6a34629023)
My camo box stereo is complete. Pyle Bluetooth amplifier, 2 Rockford Fosgate 4" speakers with 2 usb port and led voltmeter powered by a 12 volt 12 amp battery. #DIY
Woah so nice! Was it expensive to buy all the parts you needed?

I love the concept of the Ensō as well! In the age of Facebook & IG, we're inundated with likes and instant gratification. Sadly I just gave out my first Ensō today to Vitalik. I should've waited to give it to you, my first follower! Much love @jvck
Hahaha that's perfectly fine! I think Vitalik really deserves some love. He is a good guy.
And you seem to be a nice guy too. Welcome on Peepeth and enjoy your journey here among the first users. #peephard

@jvck you’re the first! Not to put down your congrats, but I didn’t know what I was doing haha thanks for being part of my peepeth learning, I really dig how it makes it special and not just the endless “like” machine you have to be on #twitter, #Peepeth rocks!

With @jvck on this one :)
I think that many people already in this space would be happy to fund a project like this through cryptocurrency. Not all, and that's way it's good that you'll still offer a fiat option. I think most of us will be happy about this new funding way.

Instead, Peepeth be trying a new crowdfunding approach. A crowdfunding page will be launched on Peepeth very soon. It will support ETH, tokens, and fiat. It’s a more appropriate solution for a community which already has a home and a native currency.
A more interesting idea to fund this project. I retained myself of investing through the Kickstarter. I have to say that this option is more appealing, for myself at least.

I had a couple of lessons with a kid I mentor, but not much came out of it. For now I know from your reply that I need to lower expectations and make it more playful (wish there could be classes on "how to be a fun mentor").
It's true that its not easy, it took some time for me to really get it.

1) The first thing I had to learn and accept is that - at that age they do not really care about learning or understanding new concepts. They only want to have fun by creating games so that at the end they can show off to family or friends what they were able to create.
@cyan Thank you for the Ensō! Hope it helps. Are you going to teach some Scratch to kids?

NUTRITION FACT: If you drink a gallon of water per day, you won't have time for other people's drama because you'll be peeing. Stay hydrated my friends.
But what if they also drink a gallon? Then they'll tell me their drama while peeing at the urinal.

i can imagine. how do you keep their attention? what kinds of formats do you use to get the material across in a fun and engaging way? hopefully a new #pastrypeep will be up this week. i've kind of been making some of the same stuff, so i'm waiting for a menu change to occur.
Under this peep I wrote a more detailed explanation of how I teach.

By always using games as example. Best method. Haha and yeah basically building games in Scratch throughout the whole week. I mostly use projects I find on the internet but sometimes I have to create them myself if I don't find what I want.
Looking forward to a new #pastrypeep!

Can you help me with some online resources and recomandations to make Scratch appealing for 9-11 yo? (Courses, basic challenges, or just your favorite sites that you found useful for teaching kids, any of these would be great).
5) Now and then organise a Kahoot (just google it). Try to do one or two about computer science in general but also about topics they like, like their favourite video game. Just ask them what they want. Kahoots can save your life and it keeps their motivation up.

3) Always make them do games and if you got enough time even make some sort of multiplayer game (local or even cloud if you have the rights for Scratch). If they will be able to play this game with a friend they are even more motivated than just playing their games alone.
