Ah, the UTC -8 witching hour... when west coast peepers sleep... and amazing things take root in dreams....
But I'm going to go have dinner, drink, and watch a movie, so see you all tomorrow!

#SanFranscisco
#SanFrancisco is such a beautiful city. I'll always be grateful I could live there while it was still affordable to us mere mortals. I was a bike messenger in SF back in the day. Does SF still have messengers and how do they survive? How can they live?

At the first blink we see a bird ...but on deep interpretation our creative thinking can interpret this manyways...can see water stagnated in middle of nowhere
Yes, a lake. Or.... a very large meteor shaped like a bird that left a crater, later to be filled with water.

Busy Traffic near Chennai Central Railway Station
I've never been to India. Maybe some day.
So, I have a tipping strategy, and it's based largely on the fact that ETH is currently at a fairly low price. Having $50 in my wallet, and assuming ETH increases steadily over the next few years, I could tip $1 here and there and never (relatively) see my wallet value decrease.

Not abstract at all. It's clearly a small, blue bird. A finch or warbler perhaps.

do you process your films by yourself or there are stores at your place that process films...
I wish I could develop file myself. In the US, I use Clark Color Lab by mail. There are a number of cheap developers. Fewer and fewer are taking B&W, so maybe someday I'll have to learn how to develop!

#lkie Do you still use it every now and then?
Oh yea, sure. It's got film in it right now. Cheap film. It will break someday. I'll either drop it (again) or a spring will go or whatever. But it still works! No battery needed, entirely mechanical.

i like the look of underexposure, though, and wouldn't necessarily say it's crappy photography. :P you can get close to it digitally but it's definitely not the same nor as cool as seeing it on actual film.
Film gets pricey though. Even cheap film and cheap developing is going to be well over $10/roll of 36. Too bad I can't pay in ETH!

dcr - in case you're wondering, Peepeth has a $1 minimum tip, so I've been using Metamask for direct xfers (I did email Bevan about any possibilities of lowering the minimum tip amount)

yes, this is true. they have snuck into cargo holds before, and it literally makes the news because if one gets in, they all get in. same with seagulls, there are none in hawaii, as far as i know. if there are, they are very lost!
Yep, and they'd better be careful. The brown tree snake wiped out bird on Guam.

There are lots of this kind of buildings in Hong Kong. Most of the Hongkongese live in a tiny home. And everything is expensive here:'(
Same in Taiwan. A tiny unIt in an old building can easily go for $300K and that's if it's a really run down building. We eventually gave up trying to buy anything.

Good picture. Reminds me of some places I've lived! What I hate in these places is the little tiny white dog on somebody's balcony that just yap yap yaps 24/7 and echoes. Man!
And here is a vine growing up a strand of spider web. That's how strong the web material is. Amazing. Not a beautiful picture, but interesting.

I feel like sharing some nature photos. Let's start with a spider, taken with an old Nikon I inherited from my dad. I love old cameras. I've reduced this to under 1MB.

Laptop for work. Wife’s laptop for hacks. Mobile for everything else 😀. For dApps I test on mobile first.
I like the big old full size boxes with gobs of wires and peripherals. The box I'm working on right now was built out of this massive Gateway monstrosity. Weighs a ton, ugly as hell, duct tape on the floppy bays, I love it!
You've heard, "Today is the first day of the rest of your life."
But have you ever considered that today is the last day of your life up to now? I find that way of looking at things more freeing. It's less pressure.

I don't know. Peepeth, peep, peeper, peepulous, peeplicious, peepopular, peeple, a rose by any other name...
I like Peepeth. But I also think it doesn't really matter. It's the functionality that matters. The importance of a name is overrated.
I'm slow on the uptake sometimes. I just noticed that the beak of the Peepeth mascot has the whole ETH thing going on. I wonder what else in my world I'm oblivious to!

True but for most ho-hum sites that's not going to happen or for sites for small audience such as a class or school.
