Take a peep at what happens when you leave zucchinis to their own devices in the socal sun - during June gloom no less. If you ever find yourself here, zucchini yogurt soup is a painless way out. Anyone else got any out of the box Z recipes? These ones won't fit in a box.
I think I'd go for a clear zucchini soup with the yogurt for dessert. The thick, creamy soups are just too ... gloppy.

I don't know. I love zucchini, I love yogurt, and I love soup, but zucchini yogurt soup... I think it's the yogurt that's not doing it for me. Good lookin' veggies you have there!

You can also buy other people's memories.
That's pretty cool. I could spend way too much time in such a store.

I saw paper making videos today. Boil the plants, beat, then make paper sheets with a mould like you said. Some of them were so attractive with silent atmosphere. Though I guess a Hollander Beater is not a silent machine!
Yes they're very noisy. I've never actually used one, just seen them in videos.

Wow this sounds very traditional and ...primitive, maybe? I've heard about traditional paper making once, the method was similar to yours. Fantastic! From plant to paper. Fascinating, though not easy.
Yes, primitive indeed! Beating pulp is a great way to get your frustrations out! I mostly use a mix of recycled fiber or paper and raw fiber. For 100% raw fiber, I'd recommend getting a Hollander Beater (Sp?).

First time meeting Peepers offline!
Not too long ago I met a bunch of people for the first time who I'd been working online with for years. They were exactly as I expected them to be in person.

photographing birds requires lot of patience, i wakeup in the mornings around 5 in the morning and hit the trails ... i target a specific species and keep waiting and when i see some unique moments capture them... sometimes i click randomly ...
Well it's clearly a passion. Do you ever enter your pictures in contests or submit them for publication? Or am I in fact communicating with a world famous birding photographer?

Painted Storks looking out for their meal #birdsofpeepeth
See, now, how do you do that? I mean, technically, these are great, but how do you catch the moment so well? Are you just really luck, really skilled, or do you spend hours waiting for it? Regardless, thanks!

is there anything you don't do, dcr?! :)
Pretty much everything everybody here on Peepeth does, I can't do, and I'm envious! Starting with those of you living in CA. I could do it in the 20th Century, but no way I could pull it off now. Access to an old printing press @Shigako, absolutely brilliant.

An exciting walk today with @Hannah and Filo. We saw a hawk kill and eat a mouse, and came across this snake playing dead in the trail.
Excellent snake picture! Fortunately for the snake, the hawk had already eaten.

Hi dcr! I'm grateful to you for tipping me. Paper making sounds so interesting... What is your method?
Handmade. When I use natural fiber, I boil, wash, mash, and grind the plant material to just have fiber then form sheets in mold and deckle. I also use recycled paper and a mix. I love experimenting!

So tired of ETH scams on Twitter. Is anyone else regularly using Peepeth?
Hi Laura! I use it semi-regularly. It's the only social media I use.

That machine is a litho press for lithography, this time I'm making a monotype print with it. Feeling not finished so I'll continue next week! @pluma @AlbertC @NateStipe
I love this! I'm into papermaking and have always been interested in printing as well, though I've never gotten into it. Very cool.

Nobody cares, really, what you pronounce, unless you're running for office. Any concern of 'permanence' is absurd. Nothing is permanent. All the money in the world cannot make your peep permanent, so don't worry.
At the same time, every action, every moment, is forever and always happening. That is, IMHO, the cosmic nature. You can't hide from yourself, from the universe, anywhere. And all you do is forever and is always happening, so do it mindfully. Just my two cents. Or... maybe not.

You can't undo actions. It's a ludicrous proposition. To attempt to 'undo' is an action itself. No wonder we're so messed up if we worry about this nonsense. "I'd like to take back that fart." Right.

Immediately.

When and how did you start with Crypto - I initially started reading about bitcoin in May 2017 but when i started to read about thebitcoinfamily story in Sept 2017 i seriously started to read about technology and also started to invest in few Cryptos #cryptostorieswhenandhow
I needed to make an international purchase in 2016 and btc was the easiest way to do so.

I have come across quite a few rattle snakes in Maryland USA and lots of poisonous snakes in country Victoria Australia. Though never taken a photo.
Doesn't Australia have 9 of the 10 most poisonous snakes in the world or something like that?

Cobra @d2r2 @pluma
Great picture! I've seen a few cobras on Taiwan, but they're a different variety. I think this is the bigger one. The ones on Taiwan are quite aggressive. I stay out of their way!

twins! are they deadly?
Nope. Common Asian Rat Snakes in Taiwan. The biggest snake on Taiwan, but harmless. Though I imagine if they bit you it would hurt. They're fighting over a nearby female.

Good morning
That is so pretty. I wish I could see the water every morning. I also wish I could hear it at night. So soothing.
Here, this cleaned up a little:
What, no snake pictures yet? Well, here you go. It's horrible quality, taken with a 1st generation digital camera, but I did take it myself, so you likely won't see it anywhere else:

$50 is a good limit for soft wallets. Enough for playing with dApps and buying the odd collectible.
And with ETH almost sure to rise over time, you can spend some and it will hold steady or increase.
