Same with twitter at its beginnings
I wasn’t lucky enough to help start that community. This time around I hope to make enough connections with interesting and intelligent people, that I don’t feel alone again when it’s mainstream.

Hi @Sparrow. I am interesting! Thank you for following me.
You’re welcome. Thank you for calling me interesting, also!

loving it. but are positive communities scalable?
Are negative ones more scalable?

Why is everyone here so nice?
We’re all share particular subculture. Everyone here (so far) is intelligent, curious, and technologically savvy. I’d even go so far as to say, the average IQ here is above 110. That being said, I think we all realize we’re sharing this place with like minded people. That’s nice!

Lastly, users can also pin sites to always receive a % of their monthly allowance, even if they don't visit that month. So in my earlier case I pinned Peepeth.com to always receive 10% of my monthly (BAT). Payments accumulate for publishers even if they're not yet verified!
Please elaborate some more! 😍🤔

You're not entitled to attention. Bevan is creating a solution for people who want to engage within certain boundaries, rather than have their emotions and attention manipulated by politics and the like. Some people will choose to view your content. That's your audience.
I second that, James. There are plenty of people (like me) who hate #politics. I much prefer to avoid seeing political posts. But I understand some people like them and they’re free to follow those kinds of accounts! :)

Excited to try out Peepeth, thinking of starting a series exploring Dapp user experiences. There is a lot of experimentation taking place and a lot we can collectively learn from each other.
Great first peep, and very cool idea! I’d like to follow that.

That’d be cool, but could also slow things down. I love working in groups and getting feedback from community, but often times it really is faster and more efficient to handle some things independently. I support Peepeth either way :)
🤔 hmm, how do you mean?

Yeah, I threw in $25. I'd prefer if Peepeth front-end was made open source and the community could vote on proposals based on some form of network credibility.

I believe this will work in their main Daedalus app. However, the light client that is in progress + Daedalus will both allow you to choose a staking pool to delegate your votes on proposals and to have a better chance at earning interest on the staked coins. #cardano
Thanks man 👌🏼

For anyone here who is interested in Cardano and ADA coin staking, I have a high-quality group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/345057862666853/ I hope to see Peepeth move to Cardano once it's fully rolled out. Blockchain 3.0 baby!
You have great content in your posts! I’m curious, is hodling all it takes to be a Cardano staker?

Curious who has donated to the peepeth Kickstarter? I threw some money in. I want to see this project scale. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1414168019/peepeth-social-network-for-a-better-world
I’m planning on it! I’m not sure if I can justify more than $50 but definitely want to see this take off!

It was only a day or so, maybe two. @bevan is pretty on top of things!

How do i store these secret phrases secretly? My real wallet is filled with sticky notes.
I keep a little journal with all of my seed phrases mixed into a short story I wrote. But I also have stored them on a little 256mb USB drive (also in short story format). I’ve even made my own mathematical keys in case I forget the stories, haha. Have fun with it!

I just realized that I responded to the wrong person! I hope my comment wasn't too confusing. It is good to meet you as well. I like the design of your website, and you have some excellent photography there. I hope to see some of your photography shared on Peepeth in the future!
I suspected that might have been the case, haha. But I’m glad we bumped into each other.
Thank you for the compliment about my website. I took the easier path and used a theme for it, rather than build it piece by piece as I did with the last one. I’ll be following your work :)
This accomplishment is worth its place on the blockchain. Joining the 800 club took me a while, but I did it before 30. 😎

With Kickstarter campaigns it is usually sorted out after the campaign. They send you an email link to a Google Form (usually) where you provide information for whatever benefits you are eligible to receive.
That’s good to know, thank you for the insight!

One of the ways could be sending your ETH address from the email you used on KS, or filling out a form with those details. It will not get lost, that's for sure :)
Haha, I like that last part! I’ll path my address, thanks for the idea!

I'd just be happy to not have to remember my entire history -- and put it on an awkward form -- every time I visit a new specialist. I get why that data can't be shared doctor <-> doctor, but I'd like to use a private key to sign permission for the new doc to get my file.
Yes please! I can’t wait for the future! So many ways to be more efficient, secure, and sustainable!

Hello World :)
You’ve made it to a great place
Vision: By 2030, I bet our virtual identities will be as real and significant as our physical ones today. By 2050, our virtual person will go to virtual work, where every hour funds are paid to our virtual wallet. We’ll shop at virtual markets, and chill in virtual parks. Crazy?
Todays Peepeth users are tomorrow’s world leaders. I call them Respectable Rebels.
We are like a patch of trees in the desert. But unlike these trees, our community will grow and flourish until it is the sand is rare.

What's the future like? Are there robots and self driving cars?
2018 has robots and self driving cars.
The future has fully customizable synthetic human sleeves that we are able to transfer our consciousness to. The future has DNA altered creatures, including animal-human hybrids. The future has immortality, and those who cannot find death.

Peepeth points are poorly named. They're actually earned for referring people who take certain actions (verifications, mosquito badge). Will be changing this.
Thank you for clarifying, Bevan! It’s a very cool project!
