Are WAX being overly critical of Ethereum here? I mean they made millions in their ICO and now critise ETH over scaling issues. Why not contribute to ETH dev rather then criticise? https://medium.com/wax-io/how-ethereum-nearly-killed-vgo-the-worlds-most-popular-dapp-1e999e3044cb
Maybe they have some relationship now with WAX. I signed up with them to check it out. You can trade cryptokitties too it appears. It may be a side chain like solution like loom? They do seem overly critical, perhaps to blame another for their mistake? Interesting anyways--

I need to be able to easily "sponsor" invites. So that when they come to Peepeth, they will already have a pre-funded eth wallet with metamask or other and can bypass long signup process currently in place for new members here. Can someone here make that possible?
Could you just send a bit of eth to an address and then give them the passphrase? Still too much work on your end? Sounds like in the future we won't need an eth account here.

I got to a point I'm tired of anyone using superlatives, nouns and adjectives indiscriminately. So cheap to use them. May be we should give value to each type of word and pay for it.
”So” = dai 10?
"Very" =dai 100?
How about rare words earn dai?
Seems possible!

To taste that, visit Israel, where some Jews are (1) trying to make up for the six millions murdered in the Holocaust, and (2) attempting to out-reproduce the palistenians. And to maintain and grow their majority by immigration. I don't love my DNA, culture, or kids enough maybe!
Well I let myself be trolled? I've been surprised about Muslims predominating in parts of cities in southern Spain (which was once Ottoman?). But on the other hand, Turkey & Bosnia in 2013 felt like what America could be if the pilgrims were Muslim. Mosques not steeples.Goodnite!

What does give me the heebie jeebies are white people who are concerned about this. Whereever I find a hint of that . . . I get the chills. Here's freaking malthausen concentration camp. Do you really want to encourage some sort of cultural baby-making race? Old testament stuff?

In Croatia, I met an old sea captain who lamented that "the white race is dead." I find it more relaxing to travel in countries where I don't stand out as different from the populace. Aside from that, I don't really have an opinion or a concern about a decreasing % of white babie

In 2050, "In Europe, Muslims will make up 10% of the overall population." https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muslim_population_growth I've traveled a bit in Europe too. In Albania, I was amazed to find Muslims who looked just like any white guy from SoCal. In Palestine, too.

i'd like to see your absolute, solid, concrete evidence that supports this claim, lol. otherwise, it's pretty racist, the subtext of which is neither lacking nor hard to discern here.

Peepeth is back! Sorry for the downtime.
Too used to ethereum's uptime. . . Works all the time, but sometimes you have to pay more. I guess someday there will be multiple peepeth frontends, so it shouldn't go down either.
It's lunchtime at #crypto2018. https://crypto.iacr.org/2018/program.html Someday there may be ongoing storage fees to store data on the blockchain since VUB demonstrates that the current pay-once-store-forever system is a mistake.

Aside from the system level spyware issue... how do you like Chrome OS? I've heard it's too limited for doing much "making" - ie video editing or live streaming games in @pluma's case.
You may be right. I've only recently begun mini video experiments. I try to do everything w/ Android. Something about developing an allergy to sitting in front of a computer having spent way too much time doing that earlier. But sometimes it's fun. Eg, may try running rchain node

shoots! i am actually planning to get a higher powered windows laptop soon (my first personal foray into the PC world), but i will be keeping my macbook as a back-up for as long as it lives. these links are very helpful, thank you friend!!
Could a Chromebook work? I've spent too much fiddling with Linux. Now I'd just use the chrome apps and or something like c9.io plus a server on a cloud somewhere if I want to run a crypto node. I tried to run linux (galliumOS) on old Chromebook last, but missed an important step

What do you mean by "mentally bartering over outrageous and divisive leadership"? Genuinely curious.
It refers to the Trump /Canadian pm as Zoolander comparison. Like someone in England saying maybe Trump would be better than Boris.

Recommendations? BM is a revival of the old music (pagan) so it depends what region of Europe flows through your veins. Celtic, Norse, Hellenic, Germanic - it's complicated. :)
Thanks @orangekivk, @voyager, @kumaran for the enlightenment. I wish the photo automatically pulled from the Wikipedia entry was less gory though. For my part I generally would rather whistle or sing myself than listen to someone else for whatever reason.

Here's a quote from the bible in regards to open borders, from Acts 17:26 -- He made from one the whole human race to dwell on the entire surface of the earth, and he fixed the ordered seasons and the boundaries of their regions.

They're both well done without question. The characters in the 8-bit one were great. I thought it was a very strange video though, and the music didn't seem to match it.
Apparently, "man" by Steve Cutts was the inspiration for "are you lost in the world like me". https://youtu.be/WfGMYdalClU I prefer "lost" (less depressing). Here's Moby where he mentions "Man": https://youtu.be/lfE64iIJzck

Warning: These videos are depressing.
Hmm, maybe i find them amusing b/c my life is removed from the scenarios in them, except that I stare at the phone a lot. The satires are well done. And where did they get the characters with the different size eyes? From a Nintendo game i played as a kid? Familiar but different.

Congrats and welcome to the ENS Club
Thank you--your post about your name probably led to me finally deciding to figure it out too.
http://cpl.colinleath.eth.show now points to my website. Thanks to http://c9.io, https://enstoolkit.org, https://manager.ens.domains, and the ens and swarm docs. Use the manager to put '0x'+the swarm hash of the uploaded file in the content field of your .eth domain.
With effort & help I've got my ens name set up with subdomains. At the moment, @mycrypto does not resolve subdomains but @myetherwallet does. The auction part is fairly simple the rest is not. https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/94wjtw/
I'm glad to have found this exercise video today: https://youtu.be/22_hoTQrsJA "Shaun T's 8-Minute Flat-Abs Workout." The exercise sitting in a chair while extending legs off the ground seems to be helping me sit better and not exacerbate my #lowerbackpain while sitting. YMMV.
