The Director of the Sonic Movie has tweeted that based on everyone's feedback, they're going to fix it, and fast! Great to hear Paramount listening to feedback, despite being so far down the production process.

Ah, that means youโ€™re signed in as a web2 user and Peepeth is signing automatically using your managed key. I should make it clear how one is signed in, as itโ€™s not always clear.

Is it the same level of safety in a web2 session (which I suppose is delegated) as a web3? I view web2 as less secure, is that wrong here?

Could we have an user pref to not sign web2s automatically, and still sign manually via web3? Would that increase identity security?

... This traditional system works fine when Person X and the recipients are based in the same country. But breaks very quickly when new generations who have immigrated abroad are involved. You wait months for the money to reach you (if ever) and you lose $$$ in transfer fees. :(

Thanks for explaining that! I can see how that's problematic.

The #bankster's "FX rates" are also extortionate: they add so much on top that they're clearly just fees/charges, without calling them that.

Coming from a 3rd world perspective, I can tell you that there is A LOT to be gained in using cryptos. We have these escrow systems that we run among extended family members scattered in a diaspora across the globe. But no banks, no accounting and a sh!tty remittance system...

Wow... I had no idea that was a thing--I'm so ignorant.

Could you elaborate on this #escrow system? I am intrigued.

When is the best time to dig up the bulbs?

Harvesting early summer, definitely before end of summer.

You don't want #garlic to top-set (grow bulbs above the ground), or split the cloves from stalk, or flower, or turn green. There's a sweet-spot: each locale will differ.

Right time = long storage

Those are huge cloves. When would you plant them? Fall?

Exacto. We plant these in autumn, they spend winter fattening up. They take the damp/moisture much better than other #garlic.

Here's their progress at our #allotment (taken last week). We bought 2 elephant garlics initially a few years ago, now we have lots!

The product of me sous viding onions in lager with garlic. I didn't want to waste the sauce after I plated the onions so I took a corn starch slurry and cooked it thick and poured it over the onions. Tastes sweet and the texture is soft. Could use some salt. Overall pretty good.

Looks great!

Ever tried an elephant #garlic? They seem to grow really well for us at the #allotment, better than normal garlics. Absolute monsters, and really nice, soft but full flavour. #gardening

I do think you make a good point @Saschlander. Experience in business change management has taught me that technical features are often drivers for early #adoption, not mass adoption.

As novelty wanes, #innovation elsewhere is needed--or stagnation.

To each their own. It's not for me to define, however I think many here would argue that the #ToS is unique to #peepeth. This gives the community a certain vibe.

One of my personal reasons: have you ever seen any malicious or spam postings here? Me neither. I enjoy the serenity.

Sorry, i donโ€˜t get it. What i understand: Peepeth opens up for non-blockchain users without the direct goal to convert them? So, basically, for them, it is just another social network? Why would you think that would attract people? Why donโ€˜t you bridge them to blockchain?

We don't necessarily need to bridge users to new back end technologies, to attract them. Liken this to databases & storage: the average user doesn't care what's behind the front end, nor should we entice them w/technical stuff like "blockchain".

My 2 wei only, of course!

Ok! So, try this--I can reproduce in Chromium:

- Start chrome, don't unlock metamask. Or any browser, and don't unlock.
- Load peepeth.
- Sign in or enter site will act as described.

Let me know if more tests needed, but about to retire for the night here! ๐ŸŒŒ

Would appreciate anyone kicking the tires on this feature. Soon, users will be able to sign up with just email and I imagine that'll be how most new peepers use Peepeth at first.

Suggestion: a way where browsers that return a web3 object (i.e., have integrated wallet/dapps browser) can still choose to login via e-mail. Opera's latest build broke Crypto Wallet integration for me, and the e-mail login doesn't show unless I disable web3 entirely.

The email was sent erroneously- deploying fix. After enabling email access, did you then try to sign in using email? Enabling email access won't send a sign-in link; the link is only sent when trying to sign in with email on another browser at peepeth.com/a/login. Will clarify:)

Yes I tried to sign in after, that's when it mentioned it's sending the one time link, but I never received them, tried a few times.
