I've always admired and been inspired by Andrew Zimmern & Anthony Bourdain to try new things while traveling more, from tv shows about food to expanding my experience in life. Trying to find more rays of sunshine in this cloudy day. Rest in peace Anthony.
yet another sad day for the culinary world, and the world at large. he was fearless, outspoken, and an advocate for some of the smallest corners of our planet. he will be dearly missed.

Nope. Common Asian Rat Snakes in Taiwan. The biggest snake on Taiwan, but harmless. Though I imagine if they bit you it would hurt. They're fighting over a nearby female.

i think tipping them is pretty much your only option. i'm not sure you could specifically target another user's batch since it's, well, theirs. i could be wrong, though. pay-it-forward is a great concept. :)

this was a great read. we all need to practice self-compassion. i think a lot of us are actually trying to do just that, but many of us find ourselves in a world that is even less compassionate on the whole. we could all be better to one another as well.

tried a keto bread recipe last night. followed the instructions exactly but the results weren't as i had hoped. close, but not quite what i'm looking for. next time i bake it, i will be making some adjustments. it has potential, however, it is quite expensive! π±

Do you have any board game recommendations for kids of age group 7-10 (strategy and fun based) have monopoly, battleship, scrabble @jordanmessina @Zanzi
it's not a board game, but star realms is pretty good for a card game. similar to magic/hearthstone/ascension but easier to pick IMO. also the art is very well done, and who at that age doesn't love things space-related? :0)
