Personally I think peeps should be editable / deletable before being saved to the blockchain. When I text or search I just bang it out and let autocorrect sort out the details.
interesting that you bring this up -- autocorrect has "trained" us to go on autopilot, essentially. :)

This lady keeps fake sneezing over and over at her baby because it's making the baby laugh, and people on the train are looking super annoyed, but it's like, would you rather the baby cry? Cause that's what the baby was doing before!
she is probably annoyed herself that that is the thing making her baby laugh! lol. what a good momma, and good on you for being understanding toward her. :)

if you ever get the chance, don't pass it up! i lived on big island for about 7 years and while i never really got to visit the other islands, it's on the to-do list for sure. great people, great food, nature everywhere. not much more one can ask for, haha!

5) Now and then organise a Kahoot (just google it). Try to do one or two about computer science in general but also about topics they like, like their favourite video game. Just ask them what they want. Kahoots can save your life and it keeps their motivation up.

Some sunsets are so perfect, they get laser engraved in your mind. This is one of three that have made my jaw drop. Where was your favorite sunset?
stunning. almost like a painting! my favorite sunsets have all been in hawaii so far. the best one i'd say was when my sister came to visit me and i took her to my favorite beach. we were walking back but it was really hard to leave.

It was! If you ever have a chance to attend an Indian wedding (in this case Hindu and upper-middle class), I fully recommend it!
yes! i have a friend who is planning her wedding to be primarily traditional indian/hindu. it's going to occur here in america but i'm sure it will be a spectacular event.

No problem. :P Yup, it was very fun but also exhausting at the same time. During this semester I'll teach 3 hours a week. You're right - that's the most important part. When is the next #pastrypeep coming? It always looks so delicious!
i can imagine. how do you keep their attention? what kinds of formats do you use to get the material across in a fun and engaging way?
hopefully a new #pastrypeep will be up this week. i've kind of been making some of the same stuff, so i'm waiting for a menu change to occur.

i go for fun. one of the, if not the, biggest anime conventions called Anime Japan is around the time i am there. i take a ton of cosplay pictures there then the next weekend there are cosplay events around tokyo just before the summer work season starts.
that's so awesome! can't wait to see some of those pictures (even if it isn't until next march, haha). do you cosplay as well? what are some of your favorite anime? PSA: i'm a huge weeb.

well well my wife is the master chef and i support her here and there....so ideas float from her side, she will need macaron classes from you as she has tried couple of times and have not yet perfected the art of making macarons
if she teaches me how to cook delicious food, i will teach her how to macaron. 😄

ok, now that i've been sufficiently called out... basically someone at work took my tool and used it for something non-pastry and ruined a sentimental item by way of stain and odor. it's the lack of respect that hurts most.

they used it for one of the worst things: some sort of tomato concoction, thus the staining and absorption of odor. (the other worst thing is garlic. cannot get the smell out no matter what!)

It all counts as one, haha. If I had to pick one thing, I hope to see a radical shift in American food. We absolutely cannot continue on the path we’re on. I’ve traveled enough to see the truth. America is being poisoned. We must have real food.

Yeah, sorry to hear that. I used to keep my cooking knife on my hip, my oven glove in my apron strap, and my tools hidden in the freezer. I feel ya.
ha, it's honestly my fault, i've gotten complacent. this is a newer place of work for me (after 5 years at another); i'm too comfortable, less cautious. tools in the freezer, though?! must have had some seriously sticky hands 'round that kitchen. 🤨

I’m sorry this happened. :( People assume things don’t have sentimental value, and tend to only see their own perspective on things. It sucks. We all kind of do it. But if your spatula was some place uncommon for a spatula to be, they should have had more sense.
the lack of respect sucks. i suppose it was a sort of inadvertent trust test. to put a more positive spin on it, at least it wasn't the (expensive) knife that was sitting next to it. a lesson, maybe, that i can no longer leave my tools where others are apt to mess with them.
warning: rant. why do people touch things that aren't theirs? today i came back from being on delivery, only to find that my personal spatula had been taken off my station and used for savory prep that stained and ruined my tool. worse yet, it has sentimental value attached. :(
