In Switzerland we have legal cannabis that you can buy pretty much everywhere. It is cannabis containing less than 1% of THC and contains a lot of CBD. You can smoke it to get some relaxing and pain-reducing effects. But not to get high. All regulated by the state.

Tomorrow I have to teach my first real lecture. Until now it was only summer camps or workshops. Tomorrow I have a class of ~10 kids from 9 to 14 and I'll be their teacher for the whole year.

What does everyone think about the policy of legal cannabis? For it? Against it? We're a month away from being able to purchase it in stores in Canada. I'm curious to see how well the system will be implemented.
for it. i'd rather be living with more cannabis consumption and less alcohol and opiate consumption. the U.S. is making better strides but still has a long way to go (esp with overprescription).

the /now page led me to a buffer blog post about making layoffs 2 years ago. it's incredibly detailed and transparent, and really makes me respect them as a company. i had to cut back on expenses and cancel my subscription, but i'd use them again in a heartbeat just bc of this.

that tag and the politics tag have both been abused over the past week or so by one main account and its two mules. you won't really see much but links to youtube videos that are (mostly, probably) SFW.

for those that still want to ask, i took this picture at Fuji-Q Highlands amusement park. they have a place called "Evangelion world" and you can stand in a small booth that make it look like you are a Eva unit. i so need to re-take this picture but make it better.
are you going to visit the park when you go next year? also, do you have any interest in the ghibli museum or have you been? (not sure if that's your flavor, but i know, generally, that it's incredibly hard to get in there.)

3) i don’t know about you, but i don’t want people to get mad at each other on here! :) the tag isn’t meant to hurt or silence anyone, it’s just there to alert to that specific content, and everyone has the option to reveal if they choose to or not. same with the NSFW tag.

2) i'm sorry that you were censored on twitter. peepeth is trying to cultivate a platform where many voices can be heard. however, there are still some general guidelines. political discussion is not discouraged, but sometimes it can lead to tension, overreaction, etc.

1) there have been some misconceptions about that. posts on this front-end can be hidden/removed, but the peeps themselves are forever on the blockchain and can't be deleted from there. eventually, another front-end can be created to display any and all peeps from the data store.
