once we have some API built we can also generate some heatmaps on trending things here
Love the stats aspect of it. Lots of opportunity here. Right now Peepeth is all @Bevan and it's amazing to see what he has done so far. Maybe as it grows, more hands will be added for enhancements.
Replying to @Kumaran (0xb197d4a62de6ceb5210d37dceeff72e54b4c5509)
do we have a place of things to do listed.. am sure we have multiple hands here who can get dirty on code and help @bevan
That may be on the list as well ;) Currently no public to-do list. Can understand why that may be not be the best idea. Priorities change, peeple may feel their ideas are more important than others. Could lead to unnecessary headaches. Best place for an idea is the Feedback box

soon we should create one peepeth map
Agreed. That suggestion has already been made to @Bevan and I believe it's on the long list of to do items/potential enhancements

2/ numbers are registered and the entire process is monitored and streamed for Proof of Burn. Once the cash is burned in the incinerator called 0x0, THEO is distributed to the customer. This is what crypto has done to me... I miss my dreams of flying lol!
Was this dream the result of a recent trip to the dispensary? ;)

Is there an API for Peeps?
Not that I am aware of, it would be great though. WOuld love to discuss w/ anybody looking to make one. Closest thing I think we have right now is a peep reader that was set up.

Seeing how Gas prices have increased significantly overnight as the price of ETH has bumped up, I would love for someone to come up with a less volatile pricing solution for Gas. Will POS help or is there an optimal number of miners needed to flatten out costs?

Folks, I'm back after 5 days of not logging in, what did I miss? Too lazy to scroll back 5 days and read everything. I noticed the new "Sign & Save" feature so that we do not pay any fees anymore. Congrats on implementing this feature! Best summary gets a tip from me. :)
Welcome back, Jvck!

kind-hearted altruism on the worlds first decentralized microblogging platform or... covert influence campaign from an ethereum mining organization 🤔fees on the dust I received earlier were 53% of total value 😭
Yeah, The gas was a good portion of the total amount. However, the initial challenge was to pass around portions of @pyroisntfire BTC dust, via a $1 tip to me, to the most people. It was an exercise in altruism via blockchain and nothing more.
@pyroisntfire - We spread the BTC dust love via ETH to 10 peeple today and @d2r2 paid it forward as well. A lot more fun than just burning it on some Dapp game, wouldn't you say? There's about $2.50 left to pass out which I'll work on this weekend. #sharethedust

@pyroisntfire Thanks for the tip ! I accept the challenge!
dcr - in case you're wondering, Peepeth has a $1 minimum tip, so I've been using Metamask for direct xfers (I did email Bevan about any possibilities of lowering the minimum tip amount)
Replying to @stuart (0x5e586ff725a997c6fd35a9c90c1fc3aef19f4208)
gotcha, i'll do less frequent, bigger penny chucking
My initial calcs were based on the $1 you tipped as I was trying to get it out to around 5 people and I'd cover the gas. Since you went all Daddy Warbucks and threw in another $5, I just kept the same # so everyone would get around the same amount.
Replying to @stuart (0x5e586ff725a997c6fd35a9c90c1fc3aef19f4208)
you need a top up of the 22 cents? i still have a few bucks if you are running low
After 9 distributions, I'm still sitting on a little under $3. If you want to throw some more in, I'll send it out. Or, you can join in on the fun & xfer some. I'm sending .00039101 ETH. Gas is ranging between 12 and 14 cents, so you're looking at 34 - 36 cents each time

my kingdom for a designer. you're right about the building icon. once I get some mocks it'll be nice to have a clear path to launch
Looking forward to it! One more idea - have a map on the main page and when you click on a state, the representatives are displayed allowing you to dig further or just see the summary info/cost, etc.

I find NFTs (ERC-721) incredibly fascinating. Here's what i've been attempting to #BUIDL in my free time lately: https://congreth.now.sh/. It's my first ethereum side-project I hope to bring to mainnet. Non-Fungible Tokens of US Congress Members, feedback welcome.
Also - adding links to each official's web page
- adding a link to the Senate & House websites (is that what the building icon is?)
- add some type of identifier/icon for those who started out in Congess but resigned, etc

Cruz, been thinking about your site & have a few more ideas: - Can you create a "Series" for the tokens based on the Congress they were a part of? For instance Series 115 would be for all of those a part of the 115th Congress, the 116th Congress would generate a new series, etc
