I try and take weekly hikes to enjoy the sounds of nature, the silence of cars, the smells of fresh air. It's my version of forest bathing, I guess.

The current gas market is a dApp killer. @bevan will hopefully/eventually open the flood gates to free peeping for all (who maintain good standing)
By moving from associated costs to peep to potentially free peeping for all, how do you think Peepeth will be differentiated from Twitter (other than blockchain save). If being uncensorable would be the only diff, this may limit adoption as many people aren't concerned w/ saving

Ok, just paid money to write my first 15 transactions to the blockchain. (Not sure what value proposition that has for me though. Why not just keep using IPFS for free and save money)

I'm going to go out on a limb then and assume you never took typing or at least, not on a manual typewriter. It's a typewriter eraser/brush. Back in ye old days, the eraser removed your mistakes and the brush swept away the eraser bits you left behind.

In India most of the top exchanges have stopped FIAT deposits to buy Cryptos and stopped Withdrawing FIAT complying with RBI policy. Everyone now is looking forward for July 20 th hearing in Supreme court to remove this ban
Did most people withdraw fiat before the RBI ban took effect or are many stuck until the court hearing for a chance that it is lifted?

There isn’t an advantage to airlines. Points would flow from those least likely to use them to those most likely to use them. A disruptive player could make it more efficient but airlines would reduce points given and increase cost of redeeming.
Agreed. I'm sure that there is an assumed % that are not redeemed which allows the promoting of the offer and bringing in new $ without paying out for the rewards. Allow miles to be xferable and you raise costs for the airlines

Nice article, Parmy. I think more users is necessary for a significant growth to occur. If a more simple, central process is developed to get people set up w/ a wallet, ETH, etc, it will bring in more users & encourage more dapp development/creation

I have the same problem, what is the benefit of writing everything to the block chain? Isn't it enough that it is signed and saved in ipfs? Could replicating actions to the block chain be optional?
What is saved to the chain is the ipfs location of the peeps rather than the peeps themselves

I saw Bear Grylls milking a dromedary the other day. He was walking across Kenya and he was thirsty. Coincidentally, I cycled 100 km #acrossRomania today, and I too was thirsty, so I decided I'll milk a camel...camel bag. I milked it twice. Take that Mr. Grylls!

Good points. How to encourage regular, but not excessive, engagement? Incentives that require only one action per day seem like worthwhile experiments, but it's an open question.
Are there ideas to be gained from looking at Twitter? Why are there so many users there? Besides the Crypto wallet requirement, are there functions that Twitter has that Peepeth doesn't? If wallets become mainstream, would Peepeth draw as many users? What functions draw users?
