Scientists use phone movement to predict personality types.
It turns out the pattern of how your mobile phone moves around says a lot about your personality.

Hi everyone! It is really exciting to try this out. Love the increased character limit. I am actually testing this out on Metamask mobile, it is now in beta, but will soon be unleashed upon the world. :) Will follow some people now. :)

... and calendars, photos, tasks, notes, lists, etc...? Single platforms do have value for myself and enterprises for consistency. I'm moving away from point solutions like Spark these years. I find Google is great for this; I personally don't have a reason to change.
Eheh I do understand your feeling. I do understand Google’s gold cage. For me avoid techno-control over people has more priority.

That'd be sufficient if I wanted and could afford an Apple, and if it was my only device I used the reminders on... 😸 It's tricky and we're just talking about reminders, a really basic function!
I guess Spark mail could do the same on every platform :-P

Indeed, it's definitely not the case! It's good to be aware of possibly nefarious uses of our data. For me, I get so many benefits from profiling, that it outweighs other concerns. My everyday habits *depend* on some profiling (i.e., emails automatically into calendar). Tricky!
Specifically to the reminders, macOS/iOS can do the same without sending your events to Apple (and/or without profiling any metadata on the event).
I do use it with FastMail.

That is fantastic, if that's your goal. Often people feel they are hindered when trying to avoid tracking. I'm aware of who's tracking what, and I allow what I'm OK with. I don't think everyone needs to be the same. Do you feel everyone should have the same policy on #privacy?
I would be ok if tracking would means only some more shoe ads. Unfortunately that’s not the case.

I used Minefield (their nightly branch) many years ago. I think browsers are a personal choice, and most users don't always prefer privacy first (myself included!) Example: I love and rely on Google's profiling of me and my data. It increases my productivity. Many may disagree.
I would totally disagree 🤣 I am full productive without being tracked and monitored. 😛

I like having my profile, settings and apps synced across devices; the Chrome extensions that I use are compatible with Opera as it's Blink; and of course, the built-in crypto wallet. I've not used Firefox in earnest for 10 or 15 years.
#Firefox has a profile manager too (totally encrypted to their eyes). I love their efforts on privacy area.

OK, I have to learn how. I tried Brave for desktop some time back, it was slow. There was a serious lack of extensions as well. I eventually uninstalled it. But I use the Brave mobile browser on a daily basis.
You can start from brave://extensions/

It can!

I'll second that! I'm using Opera (developer build) here on mobile and desktops. It uses chrome's rendering engine and its extensions. Switched to Opera this year for Peepeth and haven't looked back. 🌐🐧
Why did you preferred it to Firefox?

Firefox for sure. If you need the same engine of Chrome, then I suggest you Brave https://www.brave.com/dre300

Making an Insight feature that will let you find your closest personality matches (only for public reports) along the Big Five dimensions. Feature creep? Perhaps, but adds a nice social discovery element. At least one study shows that we tend to friend people like us so it could be useful.
Nice tool, I would give it a try for sure.

Very doubtful. I don't see the two as being connected
They advertised Libra as "blockchain", as "cryptocurrency"... typical buzzwords of Bitcoin's world.
Replying to @theoldsparrow (0xd2b45813e53e03bf6bb2cd49b2dd6ba2a46e79e8)
I would say it's just the market for Bitcoin behaving as usual. The one coin to watch is XRP as that is the direct competitor to the plans for Libra.
For the masses XRA doesn't even exists. It could work for insiders not for everyone.

It's been down all month. Could just be a natural occurrence or whales pushing on principle against Libra.
So just for market reason? No correlation (neither a percentage) between the two for you?
Replying to @deyner1984 (0xb08af0989ae3f8c535123ccbd7e79eb3c7cbce8f)
Maybe, but i am not so sure. Bitcoin has a loooong history of zig-zag pumpings...goin up too much and then going down. #Libra is a stablecoin so no one can guarantee a real correlation between this two events...is my humble opinion.
I know Libra is a stablecoin but the mass media focus during the next months will be on cryptocurrencies
Do you think #Bitcoin could be pumping because of #Libra? (insider first and public now)
