Well, it certainly doesn't lead to ABetterWorld. Ideally, there will be a consensus mechanism for community moderation of less than perfect peeps.
That's up to your own interpretation of what's best for the world. I agree on a consensus mechanism, however, that's going to be some really tricky game theory to prevent bias.

Peepeth.com is a moderated front end that can choose what to display. The focus here is mindful engagement. The standard has to be made more clear, and features are coming to help with that.
So you are saying that each post is up to your own decision of if it's deemed worth or not? Saying screw something might or might not be something you like and therefore may get deleted from the "front end"? I don't like what I'm hearing.

How were my peeps against the TOS? I said "Screw Kavanaugh". That is as hostile as any of my peeps have been. If this is against the TOS then you are going to have an impossible time regulating Peepeth if it scales. Also, I thought peeps lasted forever?
@Bevan I thought political posts were supposed to be hidden by default and you had to reveal them? We already have people on here spamming for Trump. I'd like to not see political conversations by default as promised.

Tyson, I agree regarding feature creep but I would ask about dark mode usage using surveys or even a fake feature that reported back a request. Most regular folk, don't mean to lump them in(my wife), could care less, but there are power users out there that love DM on apps.
Sounds like a great feature for a 3rd party application leveraging the peepeth data stream.

What you are doing is projecting. You can't handle what you are feeling, so you project it onto others. It's a kind of cognitive dissonance. You make it seem like someone else has the problem and try to help therefore making yourself feel better. #projection.

Hmm, not sure how I feel about Dark Mode personally, there is a reason that FB and Twitter don't have this. As a CEO of a 155 person software company, make sure to avoid feature creep. Be calculated with your UX decisions.

Just a note for #2, Peepeth doesn't have to add opt-in advertising to start taking advantage of $BAT. Just verify ownership of the domain and Peepeth will start receiving monthly token payments from Brave users :) https://brave.com/publishers/

@bevan Random thought: Peepeth could consider rebranding the underlying smart contract that writes to IPFS as something else, ie "OpenMicroblogNetwork.org" which publishes details on how to use it. That could help decouple the frontend from the data storage in people's minds.

2. Add opt-in advertising and partner with BAT to help fund the platform growth.
3. Add a least 3 Enso's per day. This is a micro-blog and it sucks to not be able to show appreciation or agreement with more than one person per 24 hours

Be sure to select the ETH account you signed up with on Peepeth, and Peepeth should recognize your account right away when you navigate to the new peeps page (peepeth.com/_) (note the underscore).

Brave browser blocks all 3rd party ads natively. Only ads purchased through the Brave browser will be shown (to users who opt-in).
Can you link me to where you purchase ads to show within Brave? I'm interested in this new world of opt-in advertising.
