@d2r2 don't take Pascal literally. The quote reads completely different in context and sitting quietly in a room alone does not reduce the suffering caused by an earthquake or a supernova. However, a quiet room may protect you from disaster but not from your own consciousness.

A recent @dailystoic journal question was "What will remain when all else passes away?" The answer I always keep coming back to is "presence". Legacy, effort, overcoming adversity - it'll all be forgotten. The only thing that really can't be taken away is awareness of right now.
Since every set must contain the empty set, the stoics should update the koan to exclude the "empty set" answer. Does the empty set contain the empty set? Do the remains of all passed things remain? Are we talking the great void? #mondaymorning #philosophy

I'm not very good yet with TP. If you're asking how to say "confirm", I'd guess you'd use pali or lon which I've seen are used for "yes". So maybe "mi pali"? I find it's quite a challenge to frame things in TP. Mi pali e sina lon IQ.

Did you know you can use nested list comprehension syntax in Python? list_of_lists = [range(4), range(7)] flattened_list = [y for x in list_of_lists for y in x] #python #tip
I like comprehensions but for chaining I tend to use the handy itertools.chain(range(4), range(7)) and if the laziness is not wanted, I would wrap it with list()
