Cool building near the Bundestag.
Berlin has one of the cleanest subway systems I've seen.
Brandenburg gate. Napoleon appropriated the statues in the early 1800s, moving them to Paris. #horsesofpeepeth

Funny fact: in 2011 I were creating a social network called Peeper (launched on 2012), and the posts are called peeps. Then I knew Peepeth and found it amazing. But some thoughts about how centralized it is
Welcome to Peepeth. Funny story! Did you get any blowback about the name? :)

Peepeth is better than Minds.com, because here we don't use PHP/MySQL but relies on Ethereum network. But is Peepeth open-source?
Hey Daniell, the Peepeth front-end is not open-source. Peepeth uses a traditional database in addition to the blockchain/IPFS, but you can indeed read directly from the blockchain.

Funny that fruits and vegetables (or modern animals for that matter) arenβt really βpaleoβ or even natural per se.
Here's a staple that doesn't appear to have been cultivated. Apparently really nutritious. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mongongo

This is hilarious. Would love to try the originals, bitter though they may be. Seems like being vegan would have been more challenging back in the day.

Therefore, Iβm happy to announce (on the immutable blockchain) that unless I have completed 100 workouts & invited over 215 people to personally try @TxBatchCrypto by Janurary 28th, I will be getting a buzzcut. I have been growing my hair for 2 years and enjoy it long. [2/2]
Nice. What's your workout count up to?
I may copy your personal invites goal for Peepeth. Although since my hair is on the shorter side already, I guess I'd have to grow it out if I don't achieve it :)

I've noticed this in the Philippines as well. All the onions are "shallot-sized". I haven't noticed a strikingly different flavor signature, though. (Unlike with tomatoes.) When I grow onions, @cyan , they are normally about the size of a baseball before I pick them...
Interesting, and cool that you grow your own. I did a little research thinking it was maybe a GMO issue. According to this, as of 2016 there were no commercially available GMO onions:

I assume the US market wants bigger (but less tasty) onions. Factory farming.
Could be. Although there seems to be a lot more variety in the US (at least in the bay area). Maybe the market here just expects a certain type. The people I was cooking for were surprised at the large onion I got, it was funny.

The onions in this picture look like something out of my grandma garden (growing with only sun & water). The larger versions I saw are always from industrial farming, and are usually less nutritious (since they need to grow larger, and faster).
That's a good point. This is also from an organic-themed store. I did find a few large onions elsewhere, but they seemed old, I guess due to lack of demand.

The onions I've found in Germany are generally much smaller (golf-ball to pool-ball size) than those found in the US. Anyone know why that is?
