@bevan I love the idea behind the Ensō! It's neat that it can only be used once a day, which means that only the best peeps will get it. :)
Thanks James! Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

If / when Peepeth gets 1000 users, I'm buying a box of these. Until then: #disciplineEqualsFreedom
Haha, almost there! Thanks for the Ensō, Keith.

Hi, glad to be here as one of the first adopters of this platform. This looks refreshingly like twitter, having to pay to post will make it less spammy~
Glad to have you here, Ahmadmanga!

@bevan Hi! I'd love to learn more about Peepeth's 'origin story' and your vision for it. What do you want it to be? The UX so far is quite nice :)
Thanks for asking, Kirsten! My goal for Peepeth.com is to make it a platform where positive contribution is the standard. See https://peepeth.com/manifesto for more (work in progress). More on the origin story to come :)
Yes, familiar UX is necessary. Now need to show that despite superficial similarity, it is a wholly different species under the hood (& explain implications). Working on a tutorial to that effect for first-time peepers.

The UI is the same is Twitter... Lame
Hey Elior, thanks for joining. You're right: the product is fundamentally different than Twitter, and the UI doesn't sufficiently reflect that. That's a main focus going forward. All suggestions appreciated.

First peep! Last semester, I had to drop out of my senior year in college after being diagnosed w/ cancer. In the process, I’ve lost my all my hair (incl. my eyebrows & pubes). I’m recovering now & learned the best things in life are the small things that make a big difference.
Thanks for sharing your story Luis. Glad to have you here.

Very cool. I want to make it to at least one event in an awesome / delicious place this year. Or maybe I'll just visit Thailand without an excuse :)

Thanks to everyone who's purchased a mosquito badge! Together, we've purchased 369+ long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs).
