Something very sentient about this stump.
Reminded me of an elephant's foot, and the base of the General Sherman tree.

thanks @pyroisntfire but how do i import my metamask adress to cipher?
Hi Nelly! Do you still have your 12-word seed phrase? There should be a way to import your Metamask address into Cipher using that phrase.

IN IPFS docs I read when a request is filed https://ipfs.io/ipfs/$hash" The gateway queried the DHT, found your machine, requested the file, your machine sent it to the gateway, and the gateway sent it to your browser. For Peepeth to which machine does the request goes? @bevan
Peepeth is currently using IPFS nodes hosted by Infura.

@abcoathup - two requests, even though I verified twitter, make it so I can default to NOT tweet and when (at) mentioning, give us a drop down to make sure I got the right person
Hey Derek, you can turn off default Tweeting in Settings => Settings (I have to change the name of that tab).
The @ selector is in the pipeline, thanks for suggesting!

I noticed that the address from which images are served appears to be aws. How do I ensure they are accessible thru ipfs?
Good eye! If you look at the IPFS contents of your peep, you'll see an IPFS hash for the picture itself. Pics are replicated to AWS for better performance.

The voice that peepeth, shall be heard forever. or The voice that peepeth, shall echo forever. And voice can be replaced with "thought" also.
Thanks for this (and everyone else who responded). Will put up the name page soon. Added the definition, and audio samples, to https://peepeth.com/faq :)

Just downloaded all of my Twitter data and closed my two Twitter accounts. Next up is a FB/Instagram alternative. Any recommendations? Was a Twitter user since 2008. Feels refreshing.
Big move, congratulations!

How can I best contribute to the success of Peepeth? I feel like eventually my suggestions are going to come across as a petulant user instead of an appreciative one XD
Hey Ira, thanks, appreciate your willingness to help! Peeping is a great way to support, as is verifying your Twitter, as you've already done. I actually love suggestions even if I've heard them before, so don't hold back!

Welcome Brian! Thanks for verifying your Twitter account.
Hey everyone! Peepeth emails are now sent from "info at peepeth.com", so there should no longer be warnings in protonmail.

.@Bevan, it's been weeks now. When will you implement the fixes for VPN users in China? I'm not peeping because there's always this doubt, "will it post?". The answer is yes after closing VPN, refreshing page and posting again.
Unconstrained China-peeping is now a reality. Anyone can now save to IPFS via Peepeth by toggling the checkbox in Settings => Settings => Misc => IPFS
Can you think of a funny sentence that uses the verb "peepeth" in a correct way? Looking for a good one to include in a primer on the name :)
peepeth. Verb. (archaic) third-person singular simple present indicative form of peep.

If like to see this one too @bevan! :) Also, lots of time to think about stuff while cycling, I though about how peeps are organized. It's following what we're already familiar with. What if it would be in a form of a carousel? One peep and underneath listed all replies.
Thanks for letting me know, it's on the list!
And yes, a conversation view is also in the pipeline :)

It sure is! Thanks for suggesting.
Thanks to @mortimr for buying a Mosquito badge!
How can we do the most good? Donating to the Against Malaria Foundation is one of the most effective ways to prevent suffering. Consistently ranked #1 by EA charity evaluators.

It's great to see from carpentry point of view, how they brought the side planks/walls together #acrossRomania.
I like the absence of 90* angles, very cool. Looks very stout! #lkie

The graveyard around the little church is rather new. It's dominated by a family tombstone, that's the size of a small house #acrossRomania, much like the ones found in Cemitério dos Prazeres (Pleasures Cemetery) in Lisbon. And, weirdly as it sounds, I like old graveyards.
#lkie was wondering about the dates. Have you seen other WW1 grave sites?

You can invite people from the "Invites" link in the menu. There's also a referral link there :)

My story on decentralized apps, with a shoutout to Peepeth: https://www.forbes.com/sites/parmyolson/2018/06/25/blockchain-decentralized-apps-dapps/#15a759ad23a7 Do you think a significant growth in dapps is just around the corner?
Thanks Parmy! Great article, and a big help for Peepeth.
I do think dapps will become mainstream in the coming years as developers continue to make blockchain easier to use. Hoping Peepeth is among them! :)

Thank you👍👍 Now I can scroll up, thanks to your advice. But this approach is rather troublesome😖
Would it be helpful if there was a button that let you scroll all the way to the top? Or maybe one that let you scroll one screen at a time?

Very possibly, I will look into it. Thanks for reporting.

@Bevan, is it normal that I can actually start following myself? I just did it and the action went through 😅
Yes, it was a bug that through neglect and the passage of time has turned into a feature :) @BrunchTime

Actually, today I complained about the accidental reload too :) Trust is still using Android browser libraries and that reload gesture is a browser gesture. @koba welcome :) When you notice that you cannot scroll, just zoom in and then the scroll will become available once again.
Thanks for reporting this. I'll see if there's anything I can do on my end to fix it. @koba @vikmeup

Btw it's not camping if you don't stay more than 1 night & if you don't start a fire; stealth camp is called bivuac and it's not legislated (so it can't be illegal) 😇
That's cool! Is that true of private farmland as well?

Wild camping. Gives me freedom to cycle as late in the evening as I want to and an opportunity to choose what I see in the morning 🙂
That's great. Is it ever hard to find a spot? Are you every worried about people bothering you?
