Ah! Forgot that you found a D already. Here's mine anyway.

Amazing day
On a boat, in the summer, in the PNW? Sounds pretty good to me!

For #speedpeeping it turns out 0%. 😀
You definitely got things moving. "Make ipfs faster" had sunk to near the bottom of my list and I hadn't thought about it in awhile.

Good morning @Bevan thanks for the new feature! I wonder if we can exchange the weather...
Haha, I would actually love to make a weather-related feature. Hope it clears up in the meantime :)

Welcome Taisuke! All suggestions for Peepeth appreciated :)

Would like to change my peepeth username from @lev to @Lev to avoid the 'iuri not Luri' problem. @bevan is this possible?
It should work, yes. The contract itself is not case sensitive, but the case you input to the contract should be respected by the front-end. Let me know if it doesn't work.

Good morning Shigako. Beautiful flower! Hasn't rained here for a pretty long time, which is too bad.

This is an accumulation lake on Argeș river, just outside of Pitești. There's another one, right after the city. It looked like a great resource and community asset. Places such as these add so much to the quality of life. #acrossRomania
Impressive that the shoreline still appears pristine. Seems rare for a body of water near a populated area to look like that.

looking almost shed-like, with the walls inside decorated with icons (think of frescoes, not My Computer), candles, little bench and so on. Families erect them to honor their ancestors and the church blesses them. Often, they would have a well dug next to it. #acrossRomania
Haha, love the Windows reference.
The shrine reminds me of altars in front of some homes in Southeast Asia, often housing fruit, incense, etc..
New feature: #speedpeeping is live! No more waiting on IPFS to peep.
Other IPFS actions will be made fast soon.
Thanks @abcoathup for the encouragement :)

@bevan what is the criteria for hashtags in leaders? acrossRomania looks like it has the numbers? https://peepeth.com/t/acrossRomania
Looks like it's just 3 or so short of being on the leaderboard. Maybe tomorrow?

You're right, it should be in the top 10. Will investigate.
🙏 Thanks for your help everyone.
From a couple days ago, when the fires were kicking up more smoke. Affected the light in a strange way.

After this tree, that is torn and unsure which way to grow, the track started going downhill. Muddy, rainy, had to hold the brake very often on my way down, but I was over the mountain. If it wasn't for the rain, I wouldn't find the climb #acrossRomania challenging at all.
Sounds like a treacherous descent; glad you made it ok.
How much traffic was there on that road?
Replying to @voyager (0x459948a40918d535407fd49bf2c041d546fc37ae)
Slow climb to the lowest pass over Carpathians took me by some wonderful houses. To quote @cyan It's a style invented by Ion Mincu, after the union in 1918, and it wasn't continued after WW2 (communists #acrossRomania tried to distance themselves from the "bad" interbelic trends).
Very cool. The architecture in Romania (from what I've seen of your photos) seems unlike that of any other country I've seen.
New feature: updating your account is now a batchable action (you no longer have to send a blockchain transaction to update your profile).

@vikmeup @jm9k I've noticed this too. Will either host a Peepeth IPFS node, or making it faster some other way. Also talking with current node provider.
If you were just trying to batch save but it wasn't working, please try again, it should work now.

I want to go back to Prague. So many memories.
Do you think you'll make it to Devcon?
Nice to see different plants. Also found some blackberries, which I ate before I thought to take a picture.
The trail became increasingly overgrown. Unfortunately, there was a lot of poison oak so I turned back.
Explored a trail I haven't walked in years today.

a sign from the road: "is growing food wasting water?"
I've seen that too. I think people were mad at almond growers' water use during the drought, so maybe that was the farmers' protest?

I really felt saved. I doubt that anything will be able to compare to psychological challenge of this stage. The next one will be climbing the lowest pass over Carpathians, but from today's perspective, it will be a piece of cake #acrossRomania Monastery is in the background.
Wow. Glad you made it safely! I know that feeling but haven't experienced it for such a long stretch. Hope you're able to stick to smaller roads for the rest of your trip.

Science fiction idea: Self referential (circular) universe where every atom has analogous solar system and every solar system is actually also an atom. This makes us simultaneously too big and too small to explore the universe. Some details to work out, but it is a start...
Cool! Kind of reminds me of the last scene of Men In Black:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKnpPCQyUec
...although it doesn't recurse. "I am a Strange Loop" talks about how consciousness may arise from self reference. Maybe "universal consciousness" can thicken the plot!

BTW @bevan, how did you guys implement etherless posting? Are you using some sort of gas relay?
Basically, peepers sign their peeps and actions, and then Peepeth batches all that data and sends it to the blockchain on everyone's behalf. See more about how it works here: https://peepeth.com/help/signing
...and check out @abcoathup's Medium article, linked to at the end.
