It is blocked from the front end. But every peep has an ipfs hash, you can still find the content there.
Yes, the front-end is moderated. Peepeth is not great for that use case. Pairing communication with a payment channel removes a level of anonymity, and hard to find those posts amongst the others. Much easier ways exist.

Humpback Whales also come to Iceland during the summer, and, unlike Minkes, are renowned for their gregarious and acrobatic behaviour. It is common to see them breaching, slapping their tails and flukes, and feeding on whale-watching tours.
Welcome, Jason! Beautiful whale, and stunning backdrop as well. #realwhalesofpeepeth

Thanks!
The issue is that Peepeth only shows image previews of content that is served over secure connections (https), and it doesn't seem like your site has https enabled. If you install an SSL certificate, image previews should work. https://letsencrypt.org/ works well and is free.

Just imagine having a class where each week they pick a famous outburst or interaction from pop culture & sports, and dissects the event based on these tools, each class open discussion between students and teachers.
I'd attend :) Maybe we can do that here.

@bevan I'm sure this has been asked before, but any plans to make a trending board?
Thanks for asking. It's not a priority now, but discovery-oriented features like that will be made.
Hey @genderpunk360, I'll have a look later tonight at why your image previous aren't working. Cool favicon btw!

I read or listened to something recently that used theme parks as a prime example of experience bias. The majority of time is miserable. Crowds, lines, heat, bad food, and expensive. Over time we focus only on the peak moments on the rides and want to go back.
Haha, this is so true, especially on a sweltering day at a water park. @keith

I'm trying to get healthier. This is my pledge, locked within the blockchain. ❌ No more energy drinks. ❌ No more fast food. ❌ No more slacking excerise. ✅ Join a gym and keep at it. ✅ Regular excerise - even just a small jog. ✅ Get more fresh air. ✅ Fix my sleep pattern.
Inspiring list! Am working on some of these too. Thanks for sharing.
Lots of apples, pears, grapes, plums, and walnuts on the route.

109 Mental Models Explained - https://fs.blog/mental-models/ I wonder if this kind of information (and most used biases) would be part of the high-school curriculum, would the next generation be more effective communicators?
#lkie I would add this to the curriculum as well:

I think if it is in red, your handle is different on Twitter. Not 100 percent on that.
Good question. A darker verification badge means the user has multiple verifications (Twitter and GitHub). You can choose which icon appears (in settings). @cscw @XTRABYTES

Why when I post a url to a youtube video, it does not embed in my message, instead it shows only the link to click? I see most other posts with embedded youtube video.
Good question. Currently, link previews appear for accounts over 7 days old, or have peeped over 50 times, or have purchased a mosquito badge. This will be made more clear.

@bevan Hey Bevan. I really like what you are doing with Peepeth. If you want some (Open Source?) help to work on Peepeth, I am extending my hand out. Maybe a Darkmode would be a nice next step and alternative to the current Frontend :)

Is there a way to get the github verification for an organisation? So some alternative to creating a gist. As far as I know it is not possible to create a gist as organisation. Creating a repository with a file like containing the content of the gist could work - cc @Bevan
Welcome, WallETH! Thanks for the suggestion, will look into this. Other verifications will be coming as well, including URL verification.

Had a great talk with a local founder. Asked him what he wished he’d known before he started. Top 4 takeaways: 1/Health is more important than you think 2/Beg for forgiveness, don’t ask for permission 3/Cofounders are co-therapists 4/Set your fears~ http://tim.blog/fear-setting
Nice list! +1 for focusing nutrition, exercise, & sleep. Not easy, or fun, and often doesn't feel important, but it makes a huge difference in productivity and quality of life. For me at least.

I'm a fan of this book specifically and the genre in general. Not sure if everyone in the club is though; heavy stuff for many!
