Added this feature today. To try it, click the "Find your friends" button in the follower suggestions box. Thanks again for the idea!

Check out this hilarious game.. making fun of scam icos in a fun way . Don’t put anything in you don’t expect to lose! http://exitscam.me/1889
It's a very interesting illustration of Ethereum utilization.
Also, incredibly fascinating social experiment

Yep, they're stored on IPFS, as well as AWS for performance. If you look at the contents of the peep IPFS hash, you'll see the IPFS hash for the image if that peep contains one.
Interesting, @bevan, and in layman's terms, how does AWS blend in? Do you duplicate/'cache' some of the information to AWS temporarily?
Open Source Initiative's logo is trademarked... 🤔🤔🤔

@bevan, out of curiosity, where does Peepeth store images?
Wow WSJ, seriously? That's super insightful...
BTW @bevan, how did you guys implement etherless posting? Are you using some sort of gas relay?

Discovery has to be improved, a lot. Firehose is the main one right now. If you have any ideas, please let me know!
Another suggestion is to add a short bio to 'Follow' widget, so one can quickly glance at it and figure out if accounts shown there are interesting. (This can be hard to understand based on just name and handle alone.)

One idea is allowing people to find Peeps who they already follow on Twitter. For those who connected their accounts to twitter this should be doable.
are there any good practices discovering Peepeth accounts one might like, besides just consuming the firehose?
thanks for free peppin' @bevan

Do you mean: as a designer, it's hard to build dapps because crypto users don't like ads, trackers, A/B testing, or referrers? That's an interesting problem. In fact, just a few days ago I was wondering how a services like @SumoMe would work if catered to dapp users...
Still scratching my head on how to do usability test with Mr. Anonymous IN PERSON of course... :-)
Perhaps in this case we can do surveys. And surveys can have prototypes in them. I.e. finish a scenario in a prototype that is abstracted from the user's actual account or identity

I think that all this fancy A/B testing and automation replaced good old fashioned sit-down sessions with users. And as we already knew in ~2000, usability tests don't have to be expensive. https://www.nngroup.com/articles/why-you-only-need-to-test-with-5-users/

Yes, you've got it @jamesscaur, it's indeed an interesting problem.
I think that the current modus operandi if NOT to log any of the user behavior. Otherwise it breaks trust, lowers privacy etc. The only way to mitigate this I can think of is user testing/working with communit
Biggest challenge I had practicing #cryptoUX over ~6 months is lack of analytics. Forget about usage metrics, A/B testing, events, funnels, click heat maps, session videos etc. Privacy is Queen. Direct contact w/ engaged community is a way to mitigate. Any other good practices?

Click on your profile image, like when you want to go into the settings. There is an "Invite" button.
Thanks, you mean here?
The only problem, there appears to be no 'invite' button anywhere...
inviting new peeps, we need to grow this baby!
Hello there peeps. Look at us, chatting in the firehose... when was the last time you could do such a thing on Twitter?
