Adding liquidity to @UniswapExchange feels quite a bit magical ✨
Curious what minting and burning of MKR has to do with the DAI stablecoin. Here's a great article explaining exactly that. https://medium.com/@Trustless_State/makerdao-what-doesnt-kill-it-makes-it-stronger-7902285542ab #stablecoin #Ethereum #MakerDAO
Parity has released a new JavaScript library for light clients and it looks pretty nice. Uses RxJS for the functional reactive programmers among us :)

Good move! Hopefully this will become available in the rest of Europe soon
I bet! I'll post progress updates as I hear back from them.
Rad! I just changed my electricity supplier to @Lition_Block which is a decentralized market place for energy running on Ethereum. They have a working product. Energy is green and cheap.

Yes, it's coming! https://github.com/ethereum/py-evm/pull/1450

I remember that my New Year's resolution for 2018 was to switch from the crypto investor side to the crypto user side. Now I work full-time on Ethereum and use the network on a daily basis. I guess that worked well ✨
I just used the new CDP interface and it's amazing how great the user experience has become!

Interesting lessons from an Ethereum meetup in Haiti. https://medium.com/dether/three-lessons-we-learned-presenting-ethereum-blockchain-technology-in-haiti-5b5ff4e756c0
I think I'm ok if it turns out that Ethereum is just the modern hippie culture of the 21st century. #MagicInternetPeople

I am based in Hamburg, so I wouldn't try to be involved in the organising - but I would definitely consider to show up from time to time!
👍
If anyone from Hannover would like to get involved forming a local Ethereum meetup group, please hit me up. #Ethereum

Integrating token tips is a great idea, thanks for suggesting. DAO governance is interesting, but unlikely in the near future.
Anyway, just food for thought. The good thing about this thing running as an decentralized, open source project is that eventually the community can just start to create a DAO if people ever feel an itch to do it :)

DAO would just make it even more decentralized and one of these big crazy social experiments that Ethereum enables. On the same time, I don't know how to distribute governance fairly. But would be interesting to team up with @AragonProject to figure it out.

The case for DAO governance would be to get more community involvement regarding development, funding and spreading the virus. But I see that it can also add friction. Obviously, you managed to get this far on your own so that's great.

I think DAI integration is crucial for any dapp as I feel much more comfortable spending DAI compared to ETH.

Thanks for live-peepin' the event :)
Sure!
I feel a slight itch to start an Ethereum meetup group in Hannover but at the same time I don't want to make my life much busier. Anyone from Hannover down for it?
@bevan is DAI integration being worked on? I start tipping right away when it's there. Also did you consider setting up a DAO via @AragonProject to let this be a showcase for a community governed Twitter? Just thinking out loud. #PeepEth #governance #community #Ethereum

Looks like Spacetopia! https://archpaper.com/2018/11/cryptocurrency-millionaire-tom-wiscombe-architecture-tech-powered-desert-utopia/#gallery-0-slide-1 But honestly with the regenerative energy plan and being so close to @tesla, how could they NOT team with them on solar +battery

I'm not sure if that track was recorded. Guess we have to wait and see what videos will be released.
Huge props on the talk selection. Lots of amazing talks on social impact and how to turn this world into something better. #Devcon

My girlfriend and I will buy a small RV soon. Depending on the exact timing we may need to lend 1 - 3k extra cash. If so, we'll get a loan from a "bank" called @MakerDAO that is essentially a piece of community governed code on the Ethereum blockchain. It's real.

The law simply doesn't have an answer to a lot of the things that are happening in this space which to me is a great signal that we are in an exciting transformation phase.

It's amazing to see how things are coming together. @mozilla created #libdweb and @IPFSbot took it as far as having two browser instances running full IPFS nodes talking to each other!
Next up @mozilla taking about the challenges to reinvent the web to make it decentralized. #Devcon #Ethereum #MagicInternetPeople
Peepeth itself is a great example of this. I believe there's a high chance the community will find a sustainable way to fund development and executional costs and run this as some form of community governed project.
