Now @Bevan pays 0.65 to save our peeps. Abstraction of blockchain transaction fees by a dApp is awesome. You could do a video on that whilst explaining the gas market.
Thanks for paying for our peeps @Bevan!

I had the same issue before getting f.lux, and what worked for me was manually setting the software to change to "night mode" an hour or two before the sun actually set in my area. You should also be able to adjust the yellow tone during this time. Worked wonders for me.
I guess I should be more clear. I’m not wanting a less-blue light version. F.lux and night shift on macOS and iOS handle that automagically.
I’m looking for something that is essentially inverted colors.
See screenshot of Tweetbot as an example.

Thanks, cool idea @ryker Big fan of f.lux for desktop and Night Shift (iOS) as well.
I’m a big fan of both f.lux and night shift, too. But white backgrounds are still less than ideal to look at in the dark, imo.
Maybe a native iOS app that supports iOS smart invert. Or just a night/dark mode option.

Saw this a while back on EthTrader. LOL
This is why it’s such a fun place to hangout! It’s an emotional roller coaster.
Should there be a night mode? I feel like everything should have a night (dark) mode.
Unless you don’t want me peepin in the dark...

I missed all day breakfast by 5 minutes.
Haha how is this a thing if it’s “all day breakfast”

Thanks bud. I sent you somma DEEZ in return. ;) Also, Frency's? Are you from the 727 too? XD
What’s a guy gotta do to get sum DEEZ? I’m always looking for baseball cards to add to the collection 😉

So IPFS can store data... but you want public access to more than just data - you need a database that links the data to a specific user (and proves only that user posted that data) - that's where the blockchain comes in.
Makes sense 😄 thanks for the clarification!

Peep on mobile. #Toshi, #Cipher and #Trust are all on iOS and Android. You can even use #MetaMask on Firefox on Android.
I think the ideal future state is that all the confirmation and verification will happen in the background. I think dealing with wallets and wallet addresses is a big entry inhibitor for the mass market.
Also, I don't have a good idea to solve the problem.

#suggestion - is there a way to add any emoticons to a peep? For example, if we like a peep, adding a thumbs up/smile could let the person who peeped know without having to reply via peep. Emoticons could be offchain. That way they wouldn't add to the batch
I second this. But maybe I'm just used to existing social media paradigms...so I keep looking for a like button

Anybody know if you can PM on Peepeth?
if you can I haven't seen a way to do it yet.
So, this will show you all my lack of knowledge on the subject, but...is the point of Peepeth being on the ethereum net just to create an immutable record of these communications? And, is that not possible with IPFS alone, with it's purpose to keep data permanent?
@bevan are there feature docs somewhere? Just curious as to what is currently possible.
i.e. whether I can/can't post hyperlinks, html image refs, etc.

Hmm intrugued with #P3D... not sure exactly what it is yet but will read on it! Dude... Deez is hilarious haha. Those are some damn nice gains there.
Deez is my favorite. Stumbled upon it yesterday, read every word on the website. The copy is genius.
Thanks for the excellent content @bob
Will the real Jack Dorsey please standup? Is it really you @jack??
I haven't actually tried to do this yet, but I'd be curious to see what my Peepeth investment is. How many pennies do I spend each day? Total with a breakdown of peep cost, tips, etc.

Cool. It's nice to be able to onboard in a Dapp browser but I feel like a dedicated mobile client might be nice to use
+💯
As soon as there are Peepeth native apps (macOS & iOS), for the love, please let me know so I can help test.
and by test, I mean use it, and by use it, I mean tell you what I potentially hate about it :)

“The creator” sounds so ominous 😂
I need to look through the readme’s for peepeth

Agreed, smaller tip amounts would lead to WAY more frequent tipping.
Very true

maybe people are peepers?...but that sounds suspect haha
That’s why I didn’t call it that in my question. I feel like we’ll be laughing about it for a while. Sort of how everyone still laughs about a post being called a “toot” on Mastodon.
Sound off. Where are all you peeps from? I’m in SLC, UT, USA
So, are posts called #peeps, but also the people on #Peepeth are called #peeps?

#question - Exploring the site and saw that the minimum tip amount appears to be $1 USD. Is there any way to offer tips in smaller amounts?
$1 USD isn’t worth much. Maybe the idea, though, is to only tip sparingly when something is amazing 😄
What this originally meant to be called Peep? But because it lives on ETH...it became Peepeth? Either way, I think I love it.
