Yeah thats a good idea - I was thinking more technical but having some general videos is definitely smart. I should do a video on Dapps showing off Peepeth! Its probably one of the most straightforward ways to explain what Dapps are since folks are so familiar with Twitter

To replace an existing, established social medium you need to position yourself correctly. Can't say what would it take to take on Twitter, but another thing you need is feature parity and this is where peepeth is lacking, yet. Content categorization, for one, and dark theme pls.
I think peepeth has almost reached feature parity with the features that I liked about Twitter so I'm stoked there (dark theme though I wholeheartedly agree!)

@frshzrnmln @danlipert - There are currently no published guidelines as to what is deemed unacceptable. You have the option to mute the user so you won't see their posts or there is also an option underneath the post to report it (reported posts go to @bevan, Peepeth's creator.
Thats great - seems like a pretty good solution and the fact that it costs something to set up a new account and spam will make muting more powerful

yeah that's the problem of uncensored freedom. I dont know how we can moderate content without making it centralized.
I don't think adult content needs to be censored, and after all a lot of new technology is propelled if not popularized by adult content. That being said people (at least for now) don't come here for that. Trust me - it will happen eventually!

That being said - what would indicate to you that peepeth is really taking off? Certain users (like maybe @vbuterin?) or a particular feature? What can peepeth do to truly replace twitter?
