I cannot remember where I learned about this initiative for the first time but it was so touching watching the faces of children who experience the new hand. The guys were making them to look like superheroes. Found it, http://enablingthefuture.org/. Amazing creativity and help!

In some emerging technology that has a high chance of being successful like 3D printing technology.
In Argentina there's a guy that started doing 3D printed prosthetics hands for kids. He brings the hands for free. It's like a hero for us. http://atomiclab.org/
