Virtualbox is great for that! But, yeah, sometimes dual booting is just a better user experience for windows-only apps.

That's pretty much it. Data is stored on Infura's IPFS nodes, and on the nodes of an unknown number of people who are replicating Peepeth data.

for instance, what i'm saying here will never go away, ever. cannot be deleted. the only way it could go away is if it died on @bevan 's computer along with all that pin his hashes so it probably won't
(iirc @bevan knows more about ipfs than i do so if i'm wrong point it out)

Perhaps.. maybe something more nuanced like "No single-post ICO advertisments". Something where you have to explain more about your company and have it as an offhand kind of link.

The main thing: not becoming like every other crypto chat where it becomes swarmed with "buy my ICO!" brigading, and the short-term get-rich-quick'ers drown out the patient, value-focused, long-term people. /3
i'd be lying if i said i didn't come to crypto for the money, but at this point i really don't care about the price of crypto. The thing about peepeth is that if you get a spammer you just mute them. the only exception is $deez but all others are an auto mute in my eyes.

My current ideas for rules are: - No ICO advertisements - No solicitation - Invite only, pay for membership as a barrier to entry & get people invested (funds are group decided e.g. charity or paying towards educational content) - No breaching privacy or sharing w/o permission /2
no ico adverts is super hard for companies because profit i guess idk
spamming is punishable by death
