Somber vibes on this evening’s run. The fog was unusually low and the air seemed thicker because of it. Avoided the pit which swallowed me on my last night excursion.
Looks spooky and wonderful at the same time. I just love this type of weather. #lkie
I love being part of so many projects even it is not that easy to handle all those communication channels. Thanks to project leads it get's easier by channeling the communication through the same platform at least as addition. That way I can help w/o clutter on my side. #I❤Crypto
'Money laundering' - The process of forgetting some coins in pockets and rediscovering them after a wash.
Thanks to the guys at myconstant.com I staked some PRV (Privacy Coin at IncognitoChain) few days ago and already earned about 6 PRV in this short timespan. Very nice.

Thanks! Nice names, I like 1,2 goal especially.
You're welcome. Feel free and choose whatever you want 😉

Imagine an app that helps you achieve your single most important goal of the year. It gives you reminders in your browser's new-tab window, lets you set sub-goals, track habits, do Pomodoro work sessions, and more. What would you call said app?
I would call it something like 'Get it done' or '1, 2, goal' 😁
The IncognitoChain node I try to deploy on my Raspberry Pi 4B is getting closer to production. Some tweaks here and there and it might be running.
Started an (un)official support group over at Telegram for all those folks who don't (want to) use Discord. https://t.me/joinchat/Hc_-MxN-2TyZ0OZsKjrNmQ
Hey @Bevan, did you get my recent Discord message? :)
Whoops... I lost my streak. That happens when projects take over my time. Well, at least I came closer to my project goal.
Have a great weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving to you too!

Visited local city office and noticed the waiting receipt mentioning how many people are yet to be attended before me. As compared to only a random code on the receipt, this provided me with a better estimation of how long I would have to wait.
Great idea. Especially when there are a good amount of people already waiting. When waiting time is high enough, one can do other things instead of sitting there doing nothing. Maybe grab a coffee or do other productive things.

Time is flying if you have fun. Realized I am on @github for over 10 years now. Registered 2009 and it is 2019 already. Really like this platform - but also keeping an eye out for decentralized alternatives.
You could use keybase.io as alternative. Fully encrypted git and several other functionalities. Running on the Stellar Chain.

The SD card is a major bottleneck in RP devices, and they often become unreliable in just a few months. Adding an SSD will greatly help performance. If the RPi4 still isn't powerful enough for you, you might want to look into a Rock Pi 4. It has 6 cores and onboard NVME M.2.
Will see how it goes using a SD card that was very reliable for me in the last years. Adding an SSD is a good point indeed. Not sure if I have one laying around here though.
Will look into your recommendation if it doesn't work.

What are you working on?
Trying to deploy an IncognitoChain node on a Raspberry Pi. The older ones like the Pi3 are just not powerful enough.
Hopefully my Pi4 arrives tomorrow after it got delayed. Can't wait to start the new project.

Is it using OAuth? Is there a specific API you'd like help with?
Not a specific API. I'm having the most problems with authentication and how to connect with credentials. Using JS or C#, depending on the project I'm working on. Maybe an example using a well known API?
Looking for a good tutorial to API authentication. Any advice?

Nice. How big are those screens?
At the bottom it's a Surface Go 10" and those two on the stand are 24" AOC.

I tried to log in via Brave and the Brave wallet function tried to hijack my MetaMask session and drive me towards a Brave wallet, oddly. I ended up using Metamask on Firefox. No biggie, but why does that happen? First time.
Brave is trying to force users to use their wallet AFAIK. Did hear this type of problem multiple times recentrly.
Workspace is rady now. Finally I got my setup gathered and connected. Now I can work more effectively. #DesksOfPeepeth

Hello world
World says: Hello CrwnLife.
Peepeth says: Welcome to Peepeth! 🎉
I say: Nice to see you here.
Happy peeping.
The caveats of spending less on hardware did hit me today. One order, 3 articles, 3 packages, 2 delivery providers, 3 different delivery dates... And no, it's not the big supplier with the a and the smiling face. Wish I had the resources to build an own shop with better service.

That would be cool indeed. There may be a way to do it with a browser extension (Twitter). Blog is doable too. Thanks for suggesting.
How about something like a webhook like Twitter or FB do? Some sort of URL that opens the "peep" window directly with a link to the shared page pre-populated?

Oh yeah I didn't even consider the built in wallet.. maybe we should make a bug report on braves website..
Not sure if that would change anything. Both, the built-in wallet as well as MM do read and interact with the website source. They will interfere no matter how often Brave changes the code. In addition, Brave will want to have it's own wallet advertised instead of 3rd party ones.

I had issues with metamask and brave to.. switched my wallet to coin base, now I'm good to go.
Have heard about problems with the combination of MM and Brave before. Might be because of the integrated wallet from Brave. Same issues came across when I used Opera with integrated Wallet.

And I thought using MetaMask normally was a hassle...
I don't have any problems with MetaMask. Using Microsoft Edge Chromium with MetaMask extension seamlessly. Even using Peepeth as App triggers the sign-process without problems.

Hey ,,, Thank you very much ,,,i am got delays ,,,try configures how safe the link wallets account transfer to the bank account to withdraw cash ......do nu have any idea whichbest ways ...news apps got me confusing with new apps
I'm not sure what's the best way. From what I've used before I would recommend to use one of the bigger DEX to buy ETH. Maybe someone else can give a more specialized recommendation.

Hello
Hi there, welcome to Peepeth!
Tolerance is when you don't mind if someone is different. When you don't make a difference between people based on their sexual orientation, race, physical/psychical abilities or anything else people can't change.

So, let's talk about friction... Last time I was on Peepeth I set up MetaMask in Brave to interface with my hardware wallet. I migrated my Peepeth handle to an address controlled by the hardware wallet... I was feeling quite secure. (And rather oblivious to how complicated that sounds... but that's another story.) I haven't really peeped since. Moral of the story - friction is good when it comes to an identity, but with the delegate feature of Peepeth you can have your cake and eat it too.
What hardware wallet did you use? Ledger or Trezor? And can you recommend it?

I'm going to switch to a more anonymous way to transfer crypto now. Tried Incognito Chain (incognito.org) for now.

It seems to me that privacy doesn't exist on the Ethereum blockchain. Their platform is a full-on data orgy.
Privacy is relative in a public blockchain. I archive some sort of it by spreading across wallets only known by me. Trading is handled over another 'unknown' wallet. For peepeth and other platforms I use one wallet that's not used otherwise.
Hey @carsten, schön dich hier zu sehen. Viel Spaß und peep on!

I considered that but I'm not sure about the tax implications. I and others have asked them numerous times to accept ETH but they need a Bitpay-like service to do so unfortunately.
Not quite sure but i think the folks over at ninja.org are working on something like bitpay for ether.

Yep... all the more reason to me to do it while young... But think. It's surely easier for you now than in 20 years, or at 80...
I think it'll be easier sometime in the future for me. When the kids are grown up. ;) For now, i'll stick with the home office version. Still some way of freedom.

I look forward to the day I walk around in a city with all my worldly possessions on my back. Alternatively, my bag at my apartment rental, only a very light daypack on containing my laptop, notebook, headphones, & Ledger. Slip into a coworking cafe with dual monitors… And work.
Get out of my dreams! 😂
Independent living and working is my dream for years. However, I got a wife and a son. That doesn't make things easier.

Cool, where do we get the chance to see the vlogs? 😊

Booked my flight to Bali!! Still time to come and join us https://peepeth.com/a/retreat
Have #fun Andrew (and all the others too, of course).
How about a life stream of one of the workshops for all of us who can't attend? Would such a thing be possible regarding the connection there?
