Can you believe tomorrow is already Friday?! This week flew by!
For me it's already Friday. ;) I'm more obsessed that 2018 is almost over. Christmas is right behind the door.
Whoop! Switched to Opera Dev on my Debian machine and Opera Beta on my Android and I am heavily surprised about how easy crypto can be. π

Sounds great! However, is it normal that the page is loading extremely slowly? I can even watch the background tiles loading one by one. π€

Now that I have more experience helping run a crypto community, I see how crazy users & bots can be on Telegram. The amount of hands out asking for freebies is insane and at the same time not fulling knowing what the project is. A bunch of groups are full of "good morning" haha.
I know that. Had the same experience over the last months. So much bots and users who just "spread the word" that there is "ICO/Airdrop/Whatever XY is starting now on platformZ". Sometimes i deleted more messages than created for users.
Hey, @arkarius! Welcome to peepeth!

Good incentive to go through to see what you really need to keep.
Hm, also a way... Shouldn't be much left over that can be digitalized. Good point.

If your home was on π₯ what would you grab?
For this case I have an evacuation bag with copies of a few fundamental documents and some clothes.

Not needed. Will lay it out like a spiral on the floor. π

In China, Itβs Christmas time in November. Merry November Christmas! This huge tree looks like a skyscraper in below picture.
Our counselor Merkel gets her christmas tree today too. 11 meters high. Maybe I should get one this height for my living room. π€£

Keep anything you used this month and anything for extreme weather. (Hot/cold). Everything else you can put in a maybe pile and start from there. Can you digitise anything physical?
I would like to digitalize my paperwork/letters but this is such a huge pile of documents. Unfortunately I have no document scanner (with feeder unit) so I'd need to do it with my flatbed.
Good morning everyone! Today marks the start of my minimalism project. For the next week's until Dec. 31th I am going to declutter as much as possible in my life. Any minimalists here who want to guide me a bit? π

In other words, perhaps a nifty tool that allows user to rebuild a wallet with a fingerprint would be handy. The anonymous (?) seed/key is still intact, but software allows the user to 'not get their hands dirty' with that stuff, no pun intended.
How could that be handled in your scenario? For this, I see a database (decentralized) with both, a hashed calculation of the saved fingerprint and a hashed version of the private key for each wallet. Could this be a concept?

I will not comment on the irony of the Peepeth founder and lead (read: sole) dev asking for PMs on a stale web2 platform. I'll just say that I'm excited for private messages on this front end. Later, for private messages that don't depend on a central entity at all. Can't wait!
Yea, an integrated pm system would be a great addition. For now, web2.0 must do it.

Sure GWD, feel free to message me privately on twitter @ peepethApp, or use the feedback form in the lower right :)
Thanks for your reply. Sent you a DM on twitter right now. :)
Hey @bevan, my way to get in touch with you privately? Wanna talk to you about something. π

I used trust too but it's soo slow for me. Currently trying out opera beta but can't find a function to add a page to my homescreen.
Good morning everyone.
Is there a peepeth Android client you can recommend or at least a good web3.0 browser for Android?
Also, does peepeth support the notifications stack for browsers?

#lkie Cute! Thanks for sharing. I recently heard that having a dog is correlated with living a good bit longer; I'm not surprised.
Thanks @Bevan. Heard something like that too. Sounds logically since I need to leave the house much more to turn some rounds with him which is good for the fitness and overall health.
Btw. was not online a while now and want to share a new info: A dog has joined my family recently. What do you think of him?
@vbuterin are you still active here? At least reading?

Is the idea to collect funds for a new company car via the community a bad one? :D
Idea: if we can manage it to collect 1000$ via tips (10% goes to peepeth) I could buy a better car (and sell my current) and donate the rest to a nonprofit of your choice. What do you guys think?

why they were harvested even before they were mature? due to water scarcity?
Correct. We had a long time without rain here in germany.
Crops are already harvested. Sad to know they had to even that they were not mature already.

I've heard there's a git-coin but can't vouch for it
Quick research tells me that's not something i looked for. What I meant is a project management platform based on the blockchain. But i think it's a bit overkill right now. But thanks for the tip anyway. :)

Are you creating an ad-hoc mesh? Cuz I've considered making something similar.
I anyone is interested in the idea, you can join me at github: https://github.com/pdsccode/zeropimesh
btw... is there something like github on the blockchain yet?

Are you creating an ad-hoc mesh? Cuz I've considered making something similar.
Every raspberry is connected to at least two networks while providing one by itself. The idea behind this is a scalable network for regions with poor internet or for disaster region coverage. So yes, an ad-hock mesh would describe it best. Currently not building it but planning.
What do you think of a raspberry pi zero w based mesh networking setup as open source project? Would be a great way to help out in areas with bad to none mobile coverage to quickly communicate instead of waiting for mobile operators to top up their equipment

Hello peepers, if that's a nice name to call you guys... I'm a super new baby here and I'm very excited to finally be part of the peepth family.
Welcome to peepeth Onome!

Hmmm... I was going to send a $2 tip and the transaction cost was listed as $0.76, and that was the cheapest. Am I doing something wrong?
Not really I think. The fees are rising these days. Got the same problem on another dapp as well.

If you want to dev things like Smart Contracts or Dapps, a good starting point is the CryptoZombies tutorial (https://cryptozombies.io/). It's quite trivial, but goes deep enough in Solidity Smart Contracts.
Thanks for the quick reply. Will look into it at the weekend.
Hey everybody! Just getting into the crypto and blockchain topic. Any recommendations what i can read/watch, to gain more information about what i can do with cryptocurrencies? thx! :)
Chilling on the balcony when the sun starts to go down. What a wonderful evening. Happy peeping everyone.
