@Shigako I'v lived in E Asia for many years, and I don't remember a typhoon hitting Japan so far north so directly. My home is Taiwan, so perhaps I didn't always pay attention. But this is unusual, right?

Me also saw something like that recently. Those vehicles really have so many wheels! It's amazing that those huge machines are operated by humans.

This is a common species which come out every year. The species you mentioned is periodical cicada, maybe? They are amazing!

Today I leave the international school. It's 1.25 am, I have to get up at 3.30 am to pack all my stuff, take a shower and be ready at 4.45 am to go to the train station and catch the first train at 5.07 am. Two hours of sleep left...
