My budgie is molting. Old feathers falling out and new ones will come out. It’s a hard time for birds.

Me and my two best mates on our way back to Melbourne from Darwin: towards Mundi Mundi plain, just outside Silverton, New South Wales. This is the road used in the opening chase and final truck wreck in Mad Max 2. July 2017.

yes! there is a family of pheasants that roam the yard every day, back and forth. they are skittish but sometimes very forgiving, as this lad here was. we also have wild turkeys, but i'm glad they don't come around as often, for they can be rather cranky. ;0)
You have amazing neighbors. I've heard that turkeys are big and courageous, sometimes aggressive birds. Thanks for the share!
