Nice! Those are Bird Nest Fungi in the Cyathus striatus group (https://mushroomobserver.org/name/show_name/2078). They like growing in rich soil especially fresh mulch.
Thanks. That'd make sense. I compost a lot of tree mulch to build up gardens and in my own potting mix blends.

I really like Peepeth. It's new & exciting. It's a working dApp that isn't all about making crypto wealth. The culture is intriguingly different and I'm keen to see how it evolves. I don't know anyone personally here. Immutability is cool. But it's not the drawcard for me.

I used to pull off in some parking lot and look up plane tickets to another country. My thumb would hover above the “book now” button until I calmed down. But one day I pressed the button, and I’m so glad I did! Traveling alone is the best medicine there is.
So cool. My first overseas trip happened because I was depressedly playing blackjack. It dawn on me how I could do something more exciting, exited the casino, walked into the first travel agent I saw and booked the first package my eyes came across :D
