Thanks for asking. I can remove the verification if you'd like, at which point you'd be able to verify it again.
that would be great, thanks

Who's investing in the kickstarter?
I'll be donating some to the ETH fundraiser, not nearly as much as if an ownership stake was offered, but I want some badges

just wondering why most people using the term 'crypto' when they refer to the cryptocurrency ?
i like the term crypto assets personally, less presumptuous of use case

Hey, shhhhhh! That was an exploit that I made @James fully aware of, btw. Of course, he already knew about it, but just didn't have the time to re-engineer it. Then someone else came around at the end and exploited it to the max. Same happened with Toshi user "ratings".
needless to say, I think i'm atleast a 4

Toshi user ratings were the worst. Friends wouldn't bother with rating, but someone I didn't know gave me a 3

After he posted, "no one else is likely to use it" - I thought, "despite people trying to spam me or grab the attention of people that investigate what I write about"... Then, *bam* @cruz shows up and hijacks my stuff. Go on, delete that... ...oh, wait...
new hashtag, #I-aGwei - but seriously, anything that can be exploited on decentralized social media platforms will. Not always for bad purposes, was impressed with your growth hack of tipping my leeroy post praising your blog to get onto "most-tipped". B.Armstrong RT FTW

Your own hashtag is genius. It’s unlikely that anyone else will use it as it is branded just for you, so you can easily track where you have given your personal stamp.

Peepeth is launching a crowdfunding campaign this Monday! Rewards include cool features & badges (and, for orgs, your logo on the front page). Help make Peepeth accessible to all with Web 2.0-level usability and a mobile app. Give on Kickstarter, or give ETH here. Thank you!
when you say "or give ETH here", are you referring to the "Tip the Author" button?

No, its in downtown Long Beach. The upcoming one at Angel City Brewing is a special one we are doing. Check the consistent meetups after that one.
oh awesome, I'll be on the lookout for it

YES! We have a Crypto meetup in Long Beach every other week, you should come! Details here: https://www.meetup.com/Long-Beach-Cryptocurrency-Meetup/ I JUST joined #peepeth this month, but check out my review of CIS LA on my blog cryptostache.com
but the meetup spot itself is downtown LA?

Going to my first big crypto convention was also a big step for me, but I had tons of fun at the Crypto Invest Summit in LA and I will be back there in October! Come hang out with The 'Stache! https://www.cryptostache.com/2018/06/14/join-the-stache-at-the-crypto-invest-summit-la
also is there an active crypto community in Long Beach I'm missing out on?

I'm in the camp that believes that cross-chain technology will eventually lead to dApps which do not rely on a single blockchain ecosystem.
Cosmos & AION come to mind, are there any others on your radar? eagerly awaiting Cosmos' launch.

Also - adding links to each official's web page - adding a link to the Senate & House websites (is that what the building icon is?) - add some type of identifier/icon for those who started out in Congess but resigned, etc
my kingdom for a designer. you're right about the building icon. once I get some mocks it'll be nice to have a clear path to launch

Cruz, been thinking about your site & have a few more ideas: - Can you create a "Series" for the tokens based on the Congress they were a part of? For instance Series 115 would be for all of those a part of the 115th Congress, the 116th Congress would generate a new series, etc
that's the plan, more or less, the session# is set in the metadata as a "congress" attribute but not set at the smart-contract level. 116 is definitely a new series. depending on how 115 is received I get to mint again in a few months =)

Hey peepers, unscientific poll time: what are your favorite dapps (except for Peepeth)? FYI I’m a journalist, so responses are “on the record,” although I guess that goes without saying when you’re posting publicly and permanently ...
i've been really impressed with the following project's 2018 progress:["market.decentraland.org", "dai.makerdao.com", "opensea.io & fanbits.com", "dev.augur.net", "beta.spankchain.org", "plex.dharma.io"]

What is the licence on the USA congress photos? I love the attributes. Gender is great to see stats on. Ethnicity if published would be good too. Are all the attributes centrally controlled? What happens post election?
the photos are public domain taken from github.com/unitedstates/images. I get a lot of good data from propublica's api I plan to add. attributes are centrally hosted for now, IPFS before launch. post-election I'll mint the entire 116th congress, incumbents having a "new edition"

Good catch about the voting members. 553 includes members of the 115th congress not in office, (Al Franken, Mick Mulvaney). Search will definitely be improved upon before launch, i'm thinking of separating it off into an /explorer route.

*allow search by Democrat, Republican Am interested in learning more as you build out the site/FAQ section (cost, etc) Nice work!
Hey Nate, thanks for the feedback. I've gotten the least done on the copywriting. Admittedly "Fine Art" isn't a good label, I want to signal early on that this is moreso an artistic endeavor than one meant to be speculated upon (tokens have no intrinsic value) .

What kind of full node are you running? I have a linux VM on my server that I use to run nodes for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and ZenCash. Adding more in the near future.
It's not up and running yet, but I'm planning to run nodes for ETH, BTC, & XMR, as well as experimenting w/ IPFS & lightning.

Serendipity... My solor powered raspberry pi is named Jasmine. I name all my PCs with female names. I also made the background jasmines. The part I didn't realize is that under my bowler hat, there lies the book...
Thanks for sharing! Mine is still gettin set up to run a full node. Not solar powered but it's on the roadmap, and unfortunately will not be getting a screen.

just started using it after seeing this peep. granted only in watch-only mode, but it's nice getting real-time iOS notifications on my ETH accts. 💙it
