If all the people of the world insist on trading their future freedoms for fiat currencies, blockchains will inevitably become centralized. The bankers will print more fiat to own their competition. Guarding against that possibilty is hodling. Not just a meme: a public service.

I’ve always been afraid of ETH. I used to hodl it, but I watched the price drop all the way down to $13 one time, in a flash crash, and there wasn’t a single thing I could do with my ETH. I haven’t trusted it since. Sold it all when it recovered, never bought a whole one again.

The attrition rate among users of any given social networking platform is going to be relatively high. People sign up thinking it will be great for them, but at some point do not find their place on it and give up.
Isn’t it sad that people need to feel a certain amount of connection to continue something?
For me, part of the appeal of a place like Peepeth is that it is new, and there aren’t too many established norms. It’s a place to start fresh, & evolve from old virtual habits.

When we run out of people, or letter and character combinations. I’d say there’s a greater likelihood of the former. Earth can only sustain so many people. But maybe Elon Musk will colonize mars. Haha.

Fiat deposits are not supported in Russia :( Also they killed Toshi chats and it is the only "improvement" except changing app name I can see after rebranding. Uninstalled it.
