That's not to say we can prevent every unfathomable act of violence... Sometimes humans become broken beyond understanding or reason. But when it happens, you dont ever want to be the person saying: I should have reached out to that neighbor. May community prevail in the end.

Beautiful! I don't know if they taste different (do they?), but I prefer them to orange oranges. Blood orange sorbet sounds amazing. #lkie
they are definitely a bit more sour and floral than regular oranges (at least, in my experience). they remind me of hibiscus tea in that way.

I don't know where these ones were grown other than "USA" (seen at the Whole Foods). They have cheaper ones at the Berkeley Bowl, which are from farther afield. I haven't tried them yet... it would still cost a lot to match the kilo I had in Bali :)

I found some US-grown passion fruit today; unfortunately it's a lot more expensive at $4USD per fruit.

It does! It actually uses the charging port as the headphone jack. So, special headphones, but the quality sounds beautiful!

Got this bad boy for 19.84 LTC at $22.90 per coin. Pleased to own one of the first crypto phones, and stoked I got it dirt cheap. It’s like the phone appreciated in value lol.

This one was just a basic white with an extended rise, so it was slightly sour. I'll be trying a real sourdough next.

We already have too many cats at our house to take on another, and most of them started out as strays. That's ok though, we've already found a home for this little lady.

currently we use it to toss donuts in at one of the restaurants. they come with apple butter and sour cream chantilly. 😄 yummy and warm for winter!

This tiny rescue kitten is staying with us for the next week. She is covered in fleas. She's probably going to need a second flea bath. #catsofpeepeth
she is so cute! 😭bless you for taking her in and helping her. maybe a week will turn into a lifetime? haha, either way, you are awesome for giving her even a temporary place to hang out while those nasty fleas get sent on their way.

dry caramel, making its way toward being deglazed with cream and... whiskey! cooking caramel in this way is very relaxing to me since you have to watch it, and you get to see the sugar change just with heat alone. the flavor is more authentic as well. 😄 #pastrypeep #eatatpeepeth
