Sunset last night.
Awesome view! Hope things are well with you! πΈ

Ahoy Peeps! #DiceSandbox is now on the Google Play Store, as an Early Access application. Please try it out and feel free to pass on feedback, it's in public beta now.

So, let's talk about friction... Last time I was on Peepeth I set up MetaMask in Brave to interface with my hardware wallet. I migrated my Peepeth handle to an address controlled by the hardware wallet... I was feeling quite secure. (And rather oblivious to how complicated that sounds... but that's another story.) I haven't really peeped since. Moral of the story - friction is good when it comes to an identity, but with the delegate feature of Peepeth you can have your cake and eat it too.
Hey buddy! Great to hear from you. Likewise, have been very busy of late, it's kept me from peeping more. πΏ
Totally agreed about the hardware wallet--that's why I still use a mobile wallet for Peepeth, I need to check out the delegation feature at some point.

I really like this low poly look.
Thanks! I'm using a free, low-poly asset pack which totals in at under 2MB for all its objects (vegetation and terrain objects). Some of the trees have less vertices than a D20 dice, and I think it looks really great, not too distracting.
Great to hear your feedback!π

I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like the most beautiful and lovingly-created dice simulator I've seen. Would sign up if I had an Android device. https://twitter.com/cowardyne
Thank you very much for those kind words! It has definitely been a labour of love, and it's been a lot of fun working together with my wife on Dice Sandbox! πΈ
Working on Dice Sandbox low-poly environmental backdrops and re-wrote the camera controller today--no more distortions from dynamically-changing FOV (ab)usage.
It might be just #dice, but really chuffed at how it's coming together! π»
What do you think my Peeps?

French, been in London 10years. Brexit made me want to leave for a new home. Berlin had enough points for me to go (friends living there, used to speak German, similar presence of my industry there, + good vegan food...) :)
Sorry to have lost you. This is unfortunately an all too common sentiment, and rightly so. I wish you all the best in Berlin! New starts... always exciting. Keep us posted!

Ahoy friends! Apols for the radio silence. I've been super busy these weeks, ramping up to release my first (public) mobile app. Exciting times, but it's been keeping me really busy--but in a great, creative way!
Hope all my peeps are doing well! π»

Thanks @arf! It says βKinchoruβ. Itβs a well known brand of insecticide spray. That red rooster at the top is the logo of the company Kincho.
Ah, now it makes sense to me! Hopefully that blew in from far, far away.

Thanks! My friend helped me to custom design and build that keyboard, to help relieve my wrist pains. So far it's working really well.

Am I seeing this right? All that fruit on a tiny tree trunk?
You're right! All the fruiting trees at our #allotment are grown on dwarfing rootstock. The top of the tree is grafted onto a stalk that keeps it growing much smaller.
This is a M26 dwarf stock. M9 is similar size. M27 rootstalks are super-duper dwarfing. Check the labels! π
Update: the espalier Falstaff apple tree at our #allotment is bearing heavy-ass fruit this season. It's only one year old--doing us proud!
No netting or sprays, and birds have pecked only a handful of apples, a fair return to Mother Nature. Espaliers rock.

No problem! I would encourage everyone to try #kokedama, it's one of those things that looks harder and more delicate than they really are.
PS - just dunked ours in a bucket of water yesterday. That'll do them until next week! Simples.

They look so pretty! How is this setup influencing the plants' life span? Do you keep them like this for a short time or is this a permanent solution?
Thanks! Permanent: it should not influence the life span if you adhere to the rule of right plant, right place.
The soil used is slightly tweaked: lower nutrients (such as 50% bonsai compost), to slow growth. Weekly dunk with water, but this varies w/the plants used.

going to check it out tonight. then I can keep peepn but in the tru spirit of this site. But at least we found another use case for public blockchains. #tryingToFindAFlowerInShit
... And, there's also https://ipfscloud.store which seems something like a Dropbox/GDrive-over-IPFS-thingy.
For mobile pictures, I prefer to use the IPFS Android app (full node!). You can then hit your QHash from ipfs.io or cloudfront, which will cache it for speedy delivery.

Check out https://textile.io, a nice front-end to securely sharing photos on IPFS to private groups of people... I think they're on Peepeth too...

We made some #kokedama this weekend, as well as tidying up and pruning some order into the backyard. Hope y'all got your #weekend #gardening tasks checked... if not, there's always Sunday, eh!
Ahoy friends! Been a while, life has been busy here... lots of planting and gardening going on this season!
Caught this guy hanging around this morning.
My first own cup of #tea--truly my own, across the entire production chain!
Made from our own tea plant (camellia sinensis), plucked, dried and cured ourselves. I could get used to this!
