@docdailey - it means to like something and is a rearranged spelling of "like". It was first used by @abcoathup on Peepeth and has pretty much become the standard way to express liking a post. Feel free to use #like or anything else.

Yeah the manga has lots of parts the anime doesn't cover. The 2016 and 2017 anime while being kind of bad in their own right also skipped a lot of stuff from the manga. Plus the manga is beautifully drawn.
Anime was horrible & they were heavily criticized for the art style they picked(which was ugly) IMO, whatever that's worth. If I was getting the Manga to collect I def would want the original Japanese.

alternate way is to read the manga (scanned manga) it maintains the 90 era plot IIRC
Do you know of any web pages that have the full collection scanned for free in English? I would also just like the physical copy for my collection. That's why I truly want it lol

Berserk is great if you like dystopia fantasies but yeah it is VIOLENT. I watched it first when a friend got back from the military where he picked up the anime bug and loaned me his Berserk box set. Real eye opener. That was in probably 2003. The outtakes were hilarious too.
I enjoy a good dystopian world with a good storyline from time to time but if I watch too much of "we're all F'd shows/movies" I get legit depressed.

I need to watch Crystal. It's supposed to be closer to the manga than the 90s anime. The only other 90s era story figures I own are Guts and Casca figmas from Berserk.
Man! Berserk was my first hardcore Anime & the worst part is my buddy did not give me a heads up how violent it get. I was maybe 11 at the time! I went back to see if I could find the original 90's Anime, it's actually surprising difficult to find somewhere to buy or watch

not sure if the gif is supposed to function that way, but i hid it because of the flashing. the content itself isn't bad by any means, but the flashing is uncomfortable for me to look at, and may be for others as well.

Good call. It may not technically be “nsfw”, but people should have the option of rolling the dice on that one. Peepeth’s flagging system needs improvement, and I’m glad this came up now. Thoughts appreciated! @cscw
