It seems the decision has already been made about Fulcrum without discussion. They have tagged political posts with the radiation symbol. Who decides which subjects are worthy of manipulating people's attention and emotions? Who are the thought police?
In reality, users should be given every tool to eliminate content from their feed they don't want to engage with. This is a start. I'm sure Bevan will iterate on this solution.

You’re not wrong! Eventually, every awesome place becomes saturated with non-awesome stuff. It reminds me of Bitcoins price peak. In the early days tons of intelligent people found a community. I told my brother, “when dad wants to join, it’s time to get out.” Sure enough... 📉

Absolutely agree, haha! Facebook is not a suitable place for like who like facts, or original content. I’ve been super active on Instragram for the last 2 years, as the subculture is better! But this place is uniquely awesome.
Insta is getting bad though too. If you browse suggested posts you'll see a lot of "fake" accounts posting content for clicks as well. I think these sites do that to gain a lot of followers and then sell the accounts off.

I second that, James. There are plenty of people (like me) who hate #politics. I much prefer to avoid seeing political posts. But I understand some people like them and they’re free to follow those kinds of accounts! :)

Peepeth, brand new, is already hiding behind cucked "Zen aphorisms" as to why they are censoring us. This platform is a failure before it has even begun. I won't be contributing to the Kickstarter, Bevan. Withdrawing my ETH from here. Hiding political news is NOT Zen.
You're not entitled to attention. Bevan is creating a solution for people who want to engage within certain boundaries, rather than have their emotions and attention manipulated by politics and the like. Some people will choose to view your content. That's your audience.

Awesome to hear that Peepeth was discussed and shown on the Joe Rogan podcast. I wouldn't be surprised if Peepeth got more attention like that because... well... Peepeth is the most accessible and easy-to-understand dapp out there!

That sounds like a good balance. I know what you mean; I'm trying to balance out the weights and workouts with a little more yin. Also easing back in because of an injury.
I'm also enjoying jogging short distances and hitting the heavy bag again. 7 months after my son is born and I'm finding my physical groove again (honestly I lost it around 7 months before he was born, so it's been a while)

Yep, deadlifts today. How's BJJ going? Would love to give it another shot.
It's good! Easing back into it because of injuries and inactivity, but I go twice a week and weight lift a few days a week too. I try to enjoy both in moderation these days!

Early thoughts about Peepeth (and why I don't use it as much as I like). No real way to get notifications that I can tell of. I have to remember to always come back to check my account.
Is Twitter behaving badly for anyone else right now? Basically un-usable with fail screens every few clicks.

Need to look for a decentralised photo sharing service with editable permissions. Then I can train the family and give them enough currency/tokens to use the service.
I doubt there will be an option for this for the next 1-2 years until Filecoin is totally operational and public and/or Ethereum's Swarm protocol. But both will certainly user in this possibility.
