I read or listened to something recently that used theme parks as a prime example of experience bias. The majority of time is miserable. Crowds, lines, heat, bad food, and expensive. Over time we focus only on the peak moments on the rides and want to go back.
Funny, I almost feel that I enjoy the anticipation of waiting in a long line. Especially with friends. Very interesting.
