My very first peep on @peepethapp Am I a Peepster now? A Peeperhead? I need an app intervention!
Hi Meredith! Welcome to the peeposphere :)
Very cool. Adding sails to tankers to reduce fuel costs. https://www.wsj.com/articles/maersk-tankers-turns-to-wind-power-to-cut-soaring-fuel-costs-1535641239

This is what one of the brands look like.
Interesting, I've never heard of this. Does it have a similar felt effect? Perhaps it's like very "low quality" weed? Or does it have a ton of CBD?

Yes, and he runs a full 7 minute segment at the top as to why he is listener supported, and how you can support him for the cost of a single cup of coffee each month... Avid Sam Harris fan :) Listener supported is incredibly difficult. Ask Chris Fisher of at Jupiter Broadcasting
I'll check him out. I like Sam's podcast too. Enjoyed his books Waking Up, Lying, and Free Will.

I could have booked a flight Melbourne to Perth then Perth London but it wasn’t going to be quicker overall.
Sounds like a monster flight any way you cut it. I like to ideally spend a layover day or two if I'm doing two monster legs. But of course, not always feasible or cheap.
20 hour flights coming (Sydney to London). I do not envy those passengers, although I guess it beats the alternatives.

“...The one ad I read for a while was for Audible, which I do use and love. But even [then] I don’t feel ... comfortable telling you that you should subscribe to Audible. I mean…should you? Perhaps you shouldn’t? I have no idea. Let that go down as the worst Audible ad ever..."😂
His full seven minute description is great. I'm glad that model seems to be working for him.

What do you think about add all in the front and shortlisted at the back, compared to right in the middle at intervals? Hello Internet is a interval show, while Joe Rogan is up front. I listen to both, and find Joe's easier to fast forward, and listen to the ones on HI.

I don't know. Experts dedicated to single fields disagree with each other after decades of study. Certainty is ignorance. "I don't know, X makes sense to me, we'll have to wait and see." I will accept as being pretty damn enlightened

I was unaware of that avian hazard. Sounds like a good use case! :)

Leaning in - as in leaning forward on the snowboard paradoxically makes it safer and easier, although it feels more dangerous? A lot of analogies there...
Yes that's the one. With many things, I can sometimes do the equivalent of "leaning in". Maybe that's obvious- just doing stuff aggressively in the moment- but there's a qualitative difference when you're in that state and I love it.
