First peep on this beautiful day!
Welcome Rohit! Awesome picture, is this in Singapore?
There was a thin band of sunlight on the horizon, illuminating the golden hills.
A #manzanita I believe. Several species here are endemic to the county.
Pretty chilly today for late May.

I’ve been lucky and have seen the occasional lyrebird near there. Wet and quiet improves the chances. There was an unenlightened person walking with a bluetooth speaker. They missed out. I don’t understand this. https://visitdandenongranges.com.au/1000-steps
Cool lyrebird vid :) Master impersonators.

Agree! Aomori is the biggest apple producer in Japan and their apples are great. Apples from Nagano prefecture are delicious too. @d2r2 @NateStipe
Interesting! Are they the same types as are grown elsewhere? Also, I've also heard they can be very expensive; is that true? Looking forward to visiting one day! @d2r2

Fonts matter. Doco looks really interesting. Would be nice to watch if I can find it.
I really enjoyed all three of Gary Hustwit's documentaries (Objectified, Helvetica, and Urbanized). His fourth is coming soon too.
Thanks for peepin' everyone.
It's #nectarine season again! In the northern hemisphere at least.

493 out of 1461 total peepeth users have purchased a mosquito net and gotten their badge!! Pretty damn impressive. Who's gonna help us get to 500 badges?!
Right now that's the number of nets purchased. I believe there are around 30 badge holders.
Here's an in-depth read about why LLINs work (not the same GiveWell link I normally post): https://www.givewell.org/international/technical/programs/insecticide-treated-nets

Going to Taipei, Taiwan for business next week. I have an entire day to explore. Anybody been before and have a "dude, you gotta see this" thing?
Sweet! I think @Hannah's been there a few times. Hannah, do you have any Taipei recommendations?

@bevan please let me know when Against Malaria Foundation accepts ETH! They would be a great organization to benefit from www.seedom.io when they do.
Thanks Kyle, I will. Have been in touch with them on that; they need a service like Bitpay to accept Ethereum. Hopefully soon!
...and we're back! (there was a brief third-party service outage). Adding redundant providers is a goal for the future.

Flew my first 360-degree turn and 4,500 foot canopy deployment last weekend! Unfortunately my Level 6 jump (unstable exit at 12,500 feet) got winded out and has to wait. :-(
Sweet! What's an unstable exit? Are you working towards a certification?

Thanks! I believe it's moss but could be mistaken.

I was going to shout nerds, then realised I am a nerd and I was participating in all of this too.
I fit in that camp too. Thought about adding a binary-to-text translator, but figured I should put that on the back-burner until some more pressing features get released :)

That leaf looks a lot like kratom. But then a lot of things do, especially when you live in a country where it's unavailable.
I don't know what that plant is but it stands out because it's the only one of its kind on the trail.

Looks like we are in a bit of a new user lull. We added 985 users in April and are at 253 for May so far (we've added a bit over 50 in the last 5 days). Have you decided if you are going to modify the batching costs/requirements @Bevan?
Thanks for asking Nate, will be sharing more on that soon!

Hey @bevan, my twitter verification isn't working :( Tried it twice now. Copied the message with the "Copy to clipboard" button, my tweets aren't private and I didn't use TweetDeck or any other third party software. Any idea what might be the problem?
Hey Patrick! Thanks for trying. Have refunded you. Am working on the problem now.

Wow. I knew you were a big Peeper, @abcoathup, but I never imagined in the 1000's... no chance, haha. I'll see if I can do a few Peepeth-firsts though. Has anyone done a Peepstorm?
I believe @abcoathup has done that too, with his epic photo series :)
