Wow! First time I've been paid for my job with crypto. Sure, $20 in ETH is not too much, but it is only beginning :)

I made it! The car is rated a max 230 miles and I went more than that. Stillwater, OK is home! #blockchainroadtrip #nochargerequired
Glad you made it! And cool to know it's capable of more than the listed mileage. Were you driving at the optimal distance speed the whole time? (or would that be like 10mph?)

I want the ability to get more Ensō. I want free peeping for all, or at least to be able to gift free peeping. I want badges.
Thanks! I like these ideas. Anyone else have ideas for good crowdfunding rewards?

There's a great app called PictureThis which I use to identify plants. It says that this is most likely Broad-leaved everlasting-pea (Lathyrus latifolius).
Wow, this is awesome! I'm going to be a plant identifying machine now :)

Welcome back! I was thinking the same today; time is precious and fleeting.
@voyager has an epic and ongoing #acrossRomania series. We have some wonderful new peepers. Some new features and fixes are on the way, and a crowdfunding campaign is in the pipeline.

Civitas Tropaensium was at its highest in the 6th century, when it was a bishopric, but later in that century it was sacked by the Avar tribes and stopped being an important city of Dobruja region. Today, it's abandoned, there are no admission fees. #acrossRomania
Ah, I see. Cool that you are free to explore it.

If I had only realized how close I was to the ruins of this ancient city, I would have cycled a bit more #acrossRomania and made my camp inside its walls. Welcome to Civitas Tropaensium! This castrum (military camp) became a city within a century.
Very cool.
Are the ruins protected at all?

The monastery of St. John the Baptist in Lipnița wonderfully wedged between a village and fields of sunflower. It's relatively new monastery, so I didn't stop by it, but looking back and seeing the view #acrossRomania makes me appreciate the fact that I'm not traveling with a car.
+1 for two-wheeled travel 🚲

Met a new friend. I gained her trust with salami. She was moving in closer and closer, ending up eating from my hand, but in a such calm way, unlike other dogs I met, that I enjoyed feeding her more than having lunch myself 🐶❤️Here I also met a couple on a tandem. #acrossRomania

Is peepeth #opensource ? Would love to check out the source and contribute! @Bevan
Appreciate your willingness to help! The back-end protocol is open; the front-end is proprietary. The plan is to release an open-source version but that's not the main focus now.
If anyone would like to work on Peepeth.com, please get in touch.

@bevan Seems that https://peepeth.com/a/new is outdated, correct? Nothing new since June? I'm still waiting for ability to change my wallet address :(

Yes, the /new page is outdated. Likely implementing a new "what's new" system soon.

@bevan Got a strange message from IPFS tonight running on the brave browser with metamask. Tried to copy it but it said something about "IPFS ..... taken". Sorry I couldn't get more info. I'll try harder next time. Is there a way to see the logs of any errors I get?
Thanks for the heads up. Was this when you were saving a batch, or peeping? I'll check the logs to see if an exception occurred.

The book "Grain Brain" (I think; I get them mixed up) talks about the new varieties of wheat that have been "bred" in the last 100 years. Apparently, modern wheat contains novel proteins that may also be causing problems.
Michael Pollan's "Cooked" offers another possible explanation (and a cool history of wheat / breadmaking):
"Some researchers attribute the increase in gluten intolerance and celiac disease to the fact that modern breads no longer receive a lengthy fermentation."

Bread has been consumed for thousands of years, yet we've suddenly had an explosion of gluten sensitivity. I suspect they will eventually find a link to modern processing or pesticides.

No reason to ever leave The Strip, unless you're going to El Dorado Cantina.
This place is also a must-go when in Vegas. An unlikely place for great Thai food (nondescript building in a nondescript strip mall a mile or so from the Strip). @doodlemania
